Twelve Days Til Christmas...

Morning everyone!!

Thank you to all my new followers *waves* and to everyone for all your lovely comments on my last post for The Artistic Stamper. If you loved that card, then watch this space because you might like a couple of others that I've made and will be sharing very soon.

In the meantime, I thought I'd share some of the very special Christmas cards that I've been making for Craftwork Cards using their Winter Frost collection of papers, available HERE and the first card features the gorgeous blue die cut snowflakes and the pink die cut snowflakes. Both cards have been on the Craftwork Cards blog but for those of you who missed them...then as always, I hope you like what you see here!!
As you've probably all guessed by now, I love dimension on my cards and what is so clever about these is that they fold down completely flat, so that they fit into the envelope!!
Up close to see all the detail of the 3D snowflake that I created using the die cuts.
I added a Christmas message, some tiny little gems, Candi and some seam binding to complete this card.
For my second card, once again I used the Winter Frost collection of papers and created my 3D baubles using Spellbinders dies.

Close ups to show the detail of the baubles that I created.
Once again to complete the card, I added adhesive gems, a die cut message, Candi and seam binding.

Thank you so much for stopping by to take a look at my Christmas cards and I really hope you like them!

See you soon with some more makes and creations!!

Bye for now...Emma x

It's A Beautiful Day...

Phew...that's been another whirlwind busy morning but I thought I'd just drop by to say hello and to share another of the cards that I made using the gorgeous Fine and Sunny collection of papers from Kaisercraft and available to buy from Merly Impressions.
If you would like to see how I made this card, then you can pop on over to the Merly Impressions Blog and see all the details!!
Well, I did say it was a flying visit and I'm heading back into the craft room to try and get as much done as possible, so that I might be able to actually see the outside world again, tomorrow!! I think I've forgotten what it looks like...lol.
Thank you for stopping by to take a look at what I've made, I love reading all your comments and I really hope you like this little creation. I'll be back to share some more cards using the fab papers from this collection and I'll also be popping by your blogs to say hello to everyone later today!
See you soon and bye for now!

L.O.V.E.

Good morning!!

Hope you are all well. Firstly an apology for being a little more quiet here in blogland lately but I have got a really good excuse....I have been run off my feet, I literally haven't had time to think and been crafting away for England. At the weekend, I spent two 14 hour days on the production line, making cards and meeting deadlines...it's a good job I love what I do!! lol...

In the meantime, you might remember that a while back I was creating something a little special for Craftwork Cards and CHA! Some of you might have already seen the photos over on the Craftwork Cards blog and I also was so excited to see photos on Flickr and Pinterest that someone had very kindly taken of this collection...I felt quite humbled and proud!! But, today I can start to reveal exactly what I made, with lots of close up pics to show all the details, and here is the first of those creations, a wedding gift box...I hope you like it!
The brief I was given was a vintage wedding, using the gorgeous flowers, Candi stamps and of course, Candi. I made the box from scratch, and just covered it in these fabulous blooms, that I built up for dimension. I added Candi clusters to some of the centres and gems to others.

You can just see the ribbon that goes around the box on this photo. I actually stamped directly onto the ribbon and then attached it to the box, adding a piece of Candi to each of the "O's" in LOVE!
Finally, I attached my message in the centre, die cut using Spellbinders dies and added Liquid Pearls around the edge.
So, this is just the beginning of my wedding collection and I hope you will keep checking back to see how this little set grows and grows and...grows!!!

I'll be catching up with all your blogs later today...
See you tomorrow with more CHA goodies.
Bye for now...love Emma xxx

Beyond The Sea...

Well, here we are...Friday already and time to share my final card showcasing the adorable and very cute Kaisercraft Rock Pool collection, that I now think I've tempted quite a few of you to spend your pennies on...sorry, I never meant to!! All the items in this collection can be bought from Merly Impressions but to be honest, this place should come with a health warning...once you enter, you will want it all!!

So here it is...my third card using the Rock Pool collection and based on one of my favourite Disney films...Finding Nemo ~ I hope you like what I've created...

On this card, I made the acetate frame which I wrapped around the main image but added rub ons and gems to the outside of the acetate, to give that extra dimension. It was really hard to capture all the detail on this card because there was so much reflection on the acetate but I hope you can see it all! The fish is another of the cute little stamps which I coloured with Promarkers.

Okey dokey, time for me to cook up a storm in the kitchen and gather my thoughts for a long weekend of deadlines and creativity!!

I'll be round to visit all your blogs later tonight and thank you so much for the comments you've been leaving me!!

See you soon and bye for now!

Under The Sea

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

It was another busy one here at Chez Williams' and I think Mr Mojo did go missing for a while but busy does mean lots of productivity and that means, lots more new creations to share with you!!

As you probably already know, Barbara Gray and ClarityStamp has launched a new 4 Day Deal over on Create and Craft and you will not want to miss it, as these stamps sets are wonderful and so useful for all types of crafty projects.

In the meantime...today's share comes courtesy of some gorgeous Kaisercraft products from Merly Impressions. This is the first of three cards that I made using the Rock Pool collection which is available HERE. I hope you like it....
The easel section of the card standing upright!
Some of you will remember this card design from a while back and I thought it was perfect for this project. The cute little turtle stamp is coloured with Promarkers and then added together with all the other Rock Pool elements to create the look of the ocean sea bed!!
With the easel section folded flat.

Before I head back to the craft room, I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the lovely comments that you left on my last post...as always, you really do make me smile wide with your very kind words. I also wanted to say thank you to all the new followers and friends who have been leaving comments and a special thank you to Judy, who has spent time trying to find me and my blog through my work with Clarity. Glad you managed to finally track me down and I'll look forward to getting to know you!!

I'll be round later to have a look at all your lovely creations, so...see you soon and bye for now!!

Forever Blowing Bubbles...

It's another really quick post from me again...so much to do and I'm actually running late for a very important date.

So, without further waffle...and as promised, here is numero two in my Clarity shares and for all those that were watching on Sunday, I think you might recognise this creation...I hope you like it!!
I created the background with Distress Inks and the stamped images of the fish were coloured with Promarkers and the fronds were coloured with Distress Markers. I then set about making my little "aquarium" by using a piece of acetate, which I scored and then wrapped around the stamped image. Finally, I added the crystals to represent little bubbles.

Right, time for me to fly as I need to make myself presentable and head out to meet a VIP!!

See you all tomorrow with another Clarity share and thank you for stopping by to take a look at my cards...it always means the world to read all your comments!!
Bye for now...

Halloween Horrors ~ Sarah Hurley Challenge

Evening all!!!

Hope you've all had a fabulous day and that you're now relaxing and enjoying the rest of your evening!!

Tomorrow, I'll be back with my final cards from the Clarity shows that were on last weekend and as always, I've saved my favourite card for last!! I'm sure if you watched any of the shows, you'll know exactly which one it is...

But the reason that there's no Clarity card is because today is the start of a brand new challenge over on Sarah Hurley's Challenge Blog and we would love you to all come and join us for "HALLOWEEN HORRORS".

This challenge is sponsored by DERWENT and the lucky winner will win a prize from Derwent themselves, a set of 24 Coloursoft Pencils (Sarah's favourite colouring pencils!) in a wooden presentation box. The DT have done a fabulous job to inspire you all with their creations and if you're still in need of something to kickstart your mojo...here's what I made ~ I hope you like it!!!
I made a table centrepiece from an old beer bottle and if you look closely, there's actually little witches flying on their broomsticks, all around the neck of the bottle. I used Sarah's papers and the adage ticket, from the Vintage Halloween Digi Kit to create the label, rosettes and tag around the bottle neck, together with lots of different Tim Holtz Alterations die cuts and a Spellbinder one, thrown in for good measure!! I finally added some paper roses on wire stems and some twine around the bottle neck to complete my 'potion bottle"!!!

Thanks for stopping by and for taking the time to look at my little creation.
See you all tomorrow!!

Sarah Hurley Challenge 48 ~ Bling and Sparkle

Hi everyone!!!

Hey, did someone steal summer?? I'm sitting here with all the lights on and watching the rain as it pours down outside...hmm, I think this is what's known as the Great British summer!! lol

Anyway, I thought I'd drop by to let you know that today is the start of a new challenge over on Sarah Hurley's Challenge Blog and the title of this challenge ~ BLING AND SPARKLE. We'd love you to join us and you have two weeks to break out the glitter and gems and maybe be the lucky winner of a voucher to spend with our sponsors, My Mum's Craft Shop.

And here's my card for the challenge, using some more of those fab papers and designs from Sarah's Wonderland cd. I just love this cd and can't get enough and I combined these with some Spellbinders die cuts and a Tim Holtz flourish.

For my bling, I used some glitter paper to make the handmade roses and finished off the whole card, with a gold crown and black sparkly gem.

Right, it's time for me to head back to the craft room and start making some more cards. It's never ending..I'm a human card making machine!! lol

I'll be around to catch up with all your creations on your blogs, asap.
See you soon and enjoy the rest of your day!

Exciting Announcement and Some Snowflakes...

Hi everyone!! Hope you are all safe and I've been thinking about everyone, who lives in the affected areas of these mindless acts of violence and awful atrocities, that are currently happening in the UK!! My thoughts are with anyone who has suffered over the last few days...

As for me? There have been lots of excited handclaps in Chez Williams' today and at last, I can finally unseal my lips as I've been given permission to share my fabulous news with you all.

*drumroll*...I've been asked to join the freelance team at QVC and I will now be prepping samples for their craft shows!!!
*squeals*
How exciting is this???
----> I can even display the QVC logo --->

QVC was where I bought my first cardmaking kit, about six years ago...it was a Christmas TSV, with lots of stamps, stickers and cardstock and when I first received it, I think my initial thoughts were...what do I do with it? lol But that Christmas I made cards for all my family and I was so proud of what I'd achieved and since that day, I've never looked back!! So, to all those beginners out there...never give up, because dreams do come true!

And before I go to open a bottle of wine, there is one other thing that I need to share with you all and that's my Clarity share of the day...I hope you like it!!

I'll be back tomorrow, with some more cards from my Clarity samples and also, watch this space to find out how you can join in over on Sarah Hurley's Challenge Blog!!

See you all then and thanks for stopping by to take a look at my little creation!

A Winter's Tale...

Just dropping by to say hello and wish everyone a wonderful weekend. Of course, here in the UK it's August Bank Holiday and in the past, I might've taken the opportunity to visit the Notting Hill Carnival or go and see some fabulous bands playing at the Reading Festival but this weekend, is one of total relaxation, good food, wonderful wines and maybe, a little bit of window shopping along the way!!

But there is something else that I always have time for and that's crafting...and today's share is something a tiny bit different from usual. By now, I think you all know how much I love the Gorjuss girls and what I wanted to do with the new releases of Winter Decoupage from The Crafthouse Press was show everyone that these images are not just for card making...there is so much more that can be done with them....

Ane here's what I made.... a hanging Post-it Note holder and this is just the first of many in a stationery collection that I'm making!!!
I've always loved stationery products, even as a little girl...I used to spend hours in department stores looking at the latest designs and buying them with my pocket money but what can be more satisfying than making your own and it's really not that difficult...I promise you!! You just need paper, card, punches and embellishments!! The rest is up to your imagination....
Before I go, there is one last thing that I wanted to do and that's to send my love and support to Suzanne Woolcott and her husband, Grant. *hugs to both of you*

So, I hope you like my little creation and as I said, there will others to follow!!

Have a fabulous weekend and thanks for stopping by to take a look!

More Gorjuss-ness

Monday again...is it just me or are the days and weeks just flying by? But I hope you all enjoyed a fabulous weekend and now, are refreshed and ready for a new week! Me? I'm loaded with good intentions and hopefully, some of them will materialise...
So, as promised, here's yet another one of the cards that I made for the QVC event, using the new Gorjuss Twisted Decoupage packs from Crafthouse Press. Hope you're not getting tired of them? But the problem is, they're really just such fabulous images, I want to share them all with you!!

I absolutely adore these oval shapes and what's even better is that they work so well with the Spellbinders Nesties. They're just the right size to make perfect matt and layers. Once again, like with the previous cards I've shown you...and other than the ribbon and adhesive stones, this card is made up by just using paper, nothing else! But by using dies, together with a die cutting machine and punches, you can get such fabulous results and also, great satisfaction knowing that YOU made this card completely by hand!!
Happy Monday and hope you enjoy the weather while it lasts!!
Love, Emma

It's All About The Stripes!

Well, seeing as I did promise...here's another of the many cards that I made for the QVC Event.
I absolutely love the striped paper that you get with these Gorjuss kits and it really does give such a striking look to the card. Apart from the adhesive gems and the red paper that I used to make the punched butterflies and matts for the toppers, everything that is on this card can be found in the Tags and Toppers and Decoupage packs. For more about the Gorjuss Papercrafts collections from the Crafthouse Press, click here.

It's no secret that I love my die cutting machines and also my Martha Stewart punches and this card shows how you can turn something quite simple into something quite stunning, just by using these tools!! I wouldn't be without them now and I really don't know what took me so long to buy them all.
Anyway, I hope that you are all having a wonderful weekend and that you're enjoying the sunshine. Me? I'm not a huge lover of this sizzling hot weather so, I'm imagining a winter wonderland...cold and crisp with gentle snowflakes falling to the ground! Well, a girl can dream can't she?!?
