We Are The Hero...

Hi everyone...

Hope you've all had a fabulous week, so far!! Me? I've been busy working on this month's Clarity samples, which are now done, dusted and ready to be packed!! But don't think that gives me a minute to sit down and relax......no, no, NO!! I'm already onto the next project and got other's planned and being thought about all the way up to October!!!

So, as I have a quick coffee and a catch up...I thought I'd just drop by to say hello...and to share my latest post!! This is one of a three card set that I made for Making Cards Magazine and were featured in the June issue. If you would like to read all about how I made it, back issues are available to buy HERE! As always, I really hope you love the card...
I used the beautiful face image and quote from Tim Holtz's Classics 5 set of stamps and the brief that I was given, was...soft, feminine with a vintage shabby chic feel!! So immediately, I knew what I wanted the overall card to look like and for once, the image in my head...was exactly the same as the finished project!!
The gorgeous papers and flower embellishments are by Melissa Frances. Forgive me, but I can't remember the name of the collection...eek!!

I hope you'll pop back tomorrow, to see the remaining two card projects from this set and as always, thank you so much for stopping by today to take a look at what I've created!! I'm looking forward to all your comments!!

See you tomorrow with another couple of cards but until then, enjoy the rest of the day and have a fab evening!

What's New Pussycat...

Hello friends!!

Well, yesterday was eventful here at Chez Williams'!! The regular visitors to my blog will know that when I logged onto my blog yesterday I was faced with the mystery of 119 missing photos! You can imagine how I felt, all my work disappeared in a flash and what was worse, they had also disappeared from The Artistic Stamper Creative Team blog and from Craftwork Cards...arghhhhh! So, after spending all morning trying everything I could think of, I decided there was nothing else for it but to manually reload and restore every photo that was missing on all the blogs I'm connected to! Big sigh...

...I finally finished this mammoth task, this morning and please keep your fingers crossed that nothing, not one tiny image disappears!! If it does and you hear screams from NW London, you'll know why!! Lol... The moral of this tale is: always keep back ups of your photos, if I hadn't have had them, I would have lost so much work and would've been heartbroken!!

So now, without further ado ~ it's time to share my penultimate DT samples that I created for the Clarity Stamp shows at the weekend and here they are. As always, I hope you love them!
Out of all the samples that I made for June, I think this has to be my favourite. I just loved those silhouettes against that cloudy sky at dusk.
The background was created using Distress Inks and I built up the scene using a selection of the stamps that Barbara was using in her Classroom shows.

The second card is using the miniature Wrought Iron set of stamps, together with the Clarity characters. For this card, I created a summer's day background and then stamped the silhouette of girl onto scene and then I used the separate umbrella stamp and stamped that directly onto the background, to give the effect of the girl holding it.

So, that's it from me for today and tomorrow, will see the final share of my samples.
Thank you so much for stopping by to take a look at what I've created and I can't wait to read your comments!
See you soon and bye for now...love Emma xxx

Up, Up and Away...

Good morning friends!! I hope you all had a wonderful long, bank holiday weekend and can you believe that the sun actually made an appearance? Me? I spent most of the weekend finalising magazine projects but I'm so pleased with these projects and I can't wait for you all to see them!! As for this week, the rollercoaster is fired up to start all over again and it's time to ask Mr Mojo to be kind and give me some inspiration for a new set of projects but in the meantime, it will be my birthday countdown!! Yep...in less than one week, I'm 21 again!!! Time really does fly and this year has gone so quickly! I'm sure someone has quickened time!!

Anyway, enough waffling, lol and time to share a card...
As promised, here is another card that I made Clarity Stamps and for Barbara Gray's German TV shows and as always, I hope you like it!

I also forgot to show you this card below, which I made for Barbara's Create and Craft show's last month!! So oops, here it is ~ better late than never!!
The background on this card is created using the Gelli Plate.
Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at today's little creations and as always, I really do appreciate all your comments and love reading them all!! You really are some of the best blogging buddies out there!!

See you all soon and have a fab day...bye for now!

Fairy Belle...

Hi friends!

Hope you all had a great weekend and ready for another week full of creativity!

Today, I'm sharing a project with you that I made for the May issue of Making Cards Magazine and some of you might have spied this one on the cover!!

When I was given the brief of making a stepper card, I instantly thought that it would be fabulous to create a magical, mystical feel to the card and I knew that there was a collection of papers by Prima that would work perfectly. So, here is the finished result and as always ~ I hope you like it!!

For more information about I made this card and all the products I used, which include gorgeous dies by Sizzix and Tim HoltzPrima MarketingClarity Stamp and Martha Stewart, you can get back issues of Making Cards HERE!

Okey dokey, time for me to get busy, well...maybe after one more coffee!! I think I need that caffeine buzz to kick me into action today!

Thank you so much for dropping by and visiting my blog today and I can't wait to read all your comments and hear what you think about this project!!
See you all again soon but bye for now!

Going Dutch...

Hello friends...

Today is going to be a really quick post from me, as I had some eye tests yesterday which has left me with slightly blurry vision today! To be honest, it's a good job I can touch type, as I don't think this post would make much sense if I couldn't....and before anyone asks, nope...I swear I haven't touched a drop of vino, lol!!

So, onto my post for today and it's another of my Clarity DT samples that I made for Barbara's TV shows at the weekend. As always, I really hope you like it...
The inspiration for this came from the 18th Century Delft plates and I was so pleased with how it turned out, I love that blue against the cream backdrop.
The whole background was created using Distress Inks and matted onto cardstock with a punched border, which I created using Martha Stewart punches. Don't ask me which one, I have so many and I don't know the names of any of them!!! Lol!
So, that's it from me for today...I'll see you all tomorrow with less blurry vision and another of my Clarity samples!!
Enjoy the rest of your day and bye for now...

Little Boy Blue...

Hello friends ~ it's another stunning day outside and just how I like it!! Sun shining but not too hot...perfect!!

Today, I'm just dropping by to say hello and to share my second but last DT project for Merly Impressions. As always, I really hope you like it...
I must admit, that when I saw the boy collection from Bundle of Joy by Kaisercraft, this was my favourite because of the colour tones. I'm not really a "pink girl"...but as you might notice, I do love blue!! I also love that stamp of the baby boy...it was just such a gorgeous image and so cute...

The stamped image is coloured using Distress Marker pens.
If you want to find out what I used to create this card, then look no further, just pop over to Merly Impressions blog and you can find out all about it!

Well, that's it for me for today...while the body is allowing, I'd better get creating, seize the moment whilst it's there because it won't be around for long ~ lol!!
See you all tomorrow with a Craftwork Cards share and in the meantime,
Happy Friday everyone!!
Bye for now...love Emma xxx

Close Your Eyes...

Morning everyone!!

...and thank you so much for all your lovely comments on my previous blog post and a big hello to Lavender Rose and welcome to my blog!! Really glad you found me and I hope you enjoy all my crafty antics and stories from Chez Williams... :)

Today, I'm sharing another of my samples that I made for Barbara, for the Clarity shows at the weekend and as always, I hope you like it...

What you probably can't see on these pictures is, I painted all the shells using Perfect Pearls to give them the look of real shells that shimmer in the sunshine!!
I also thought the colour combination was just perfect against the backdrop of the kraft card, which I love using at the moment!!

So, that's it from me for today and I'll be back tomorrow with my first Artistic Stamper post of the month and some more Clarity samples to follow!!
Thank you for dropping by today and looking forward to reading all your comments on this post!
See you soon and bye for now,

P.S. I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who left me a message ahead of my consultant appointment yesterday ~ there's going to be more tests to come and I'm not quite out the woods yet but I'm staying positive and I know this is just a very inconvenient blip in my schedule!! Lol!!

A Single Flower...

Hello everyone and happy weekend!!

Big apologies for not getting back sooner to continue my Clarity samples. I didn't get stuck at QVC, never to be let out again, lol!! It was just a combination of a migraine, no internet connection, then when the internet came back on...I had to catch up with a huge amount of emails, messages, etc., and a few other events that came to try me along the way!! But I'm back and ready to show you the last two samples that I made for last weekend's Clarity shows. And here's the first of those, as always I hope you like it...
This card was made using the Rose Art set of stamps, which I hand painted using Distress Marker pens. I used a Martha Stewart punch to create the decorative edge down the side and also used a Sizzix/Tim Holtz Cabinet die to make the frame which I matted and layered over the top of my stamped image to create the look of a window.

Right, back to work...no rest for the wicked and there's lots of creating to be done!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit me and look at my latest post...I really do appreciate all your lovely comments and will try to visit you all, asap!!

See you all again tomorrow, with my final share from Clarity...bye for now and have a fab weekend!

Some Like It Hot...

Hello again!! Thank you to everyone for their visits yesterday...I loved reading all your comments and thank you for all the get well messages, I'm still in pain and today, has been another "go slow day" for me!! Not good when you have deadlines looming and still nothing to show!! Eek!!

Anyway, I'm over the moon that you all loved yesterday's card and to Shirley, yes...you know me too well because I was trying to create the look of a Japanese screen with my card and I'm so pleased that you picked up on this!! :)

It's now time for another share and of course, another card from Clarity. Hope you all like it!!
Again, this card was made using DI's to build up the background colours and I purposely chose to do this as a sunset, to capture a sultry heat on a hot summer's day and I also thought it would showcase Barbara's lovely silhouette stamp perfectly, against the brilliant orange and red background! I stamped the main image across the bottom of the backdrop, and carried it on in a continuous line to go right across. I then stamped the trees and the message to complete the card.

So, that's it from me for today...I'm off to search for Mr Mojo in the hope of coaxing him back for an early start tomorrow!
I'll be round to visit your blogs, later tonight when I sit down with a cuppa and a Jaffa Cake!
See you all tomorrow with another share...bye for now!

Hovering Around....

Hello everyone!

Hope you've all had a lovely day, so far. A quick hello...goodbye from me today as I'm feeling a little under the weather! I'm suffering from severe neck and wrist pain and so, I'm having an easy day...well, trying anyway, because for those who know me well, they know that "trying" is a word that doesn't feature in my vocabulary ~ lol to often!!

As promised, today is my second day of Clarity shares ~ I hope you like it!!
To make this card, there were three separate stamps ~ a small single flower, larger single flower and the hummingbird and I built up all my flowers using the masking technique to create the cluster to which the little birdie has been drawn to. I used DI's to create the sky and then matted it onto a Martha Stewart punched background.

Thank you for dropping by to take a look at my little creation and I'll be back tomorrow with another Clarity share but until then, stay warm and have a lovely evening and just before I go, just wanted to let you all know that Julie Hickey will be on QVC with some fabulous new Craftwork Cards kits, tomorrow...Wednesday 7th November at 2pm ~ so, make sure you put it in your diaries and make a date to watch!!
See you soon and bye for now!
