Class of 2013!

Hi everyone!! Hope you are all well and it's just another very quick post from me to say hello and to let you all know I'm still alive!! Lol!! Unfortunately, I do feel like death though!! :( I'm still fighting this chest infection and on top of it all, the relentless coughing has caused me to have an excruciating pain in my ribs!! So, I'm off to the GP's later to see what they can do about it...wish me luck!! :)

In the meantime, here is the second card that I made using the gorgeous Class Act collection from Kaisercraft and as always, I hope you like it!! All products are available from Merly Impressions.
For this card, I thought it would be a fab idea to make the whole concept of the card, look like a blackboard, so that you can write your own message onto it!!! For details of all the products and how I made this card, click HERE
That's it from me for today...thank you for taking the time to come and have a look at my little creation and as always, thank you for all your well wishes and your lovely comments!! I have read them all and you really are just the best friends and blogging buddies that a girl could wish for!!
See you all soon and bye for now...love Emma xxx

Growing Up Is Optional...

Hi everyone!!

I can't believe I haven't blogged for nearly a week...eek ~ but I do have good reason!! At the moment, Christmas has well and truly arrived here at Chez Williams' because I'm making lots of projects for the next Making Cards Christmas Special Magazine and also, for the regular magazine and it's Christmas all the way!! I can't wait for you to see them all!!

In the meantime, as promised last week ~ oops, here is the next project that I made for Merly Impressions using the fabulous Save The Date collection from Kaisercraft! As always, I really hope you like it...
All Save The Date products are available from Merly Impressions.
This card is a twist on the traditional easel card and when you pull up the front section, it reveals a secret message!!
Right, no rest for the wicked...it's time for me to take off my crafting hat and put on my domestic goddess one and head to the kitchen!!

Thank you for all your lovely comments on my last post and I promise I am going to make a concerted effort to visit you all tonight...if not, you have my permission to put me on the naughty step!!
See you soon...love Emma xxx

Sugar Candi

It's another really quick post from me tonight and at the risk of sounding like a broken record...it's been another busy day but yay...I've met all my deadlines. My Clarity samples are all finished, ready to be packed up and sent off tomorrow, my magazine projects are done, dusted and the instructions are all written and all but one of my DT projects are up to date!! I think I might celebrate with a glass of vino tonight..because I'm worth it!! LOL...

If you were watching QVC earlier today, you might have seen Kirsty Wiseman showing some of my samples that I made before Christmas, using a couple of fab punches from EK Success. I still get such a buzz from seeing all my cards on TV and I thought you might like to see a couple of screenshots of the just two of the cards I made, and as always I'll show all of them here on my blog, with lots of close up photos of all the details.
But before I get around to cropping all the pics and loading them on, here are a few more of the samples that I made for the Craftwork Cards shows that were on QVC a couple of weeks ago! I hope you like them...

Some samples using the gorgeous Confetti kit, combined with the Easel cards. All the items that I used on these cards are available from QVC or Craftwork Cards themselves.

This card was made using the die cuts and papers from the Sweet Meadow kit.
Right, time for me to try and catch up on the huge amount of emails, messages and last but not least, all your blog posts. So, fingers crossed I should be around later tonight, or if I collapse before, tomorrow morning! hee hee...

See you soon and bye for now!

Stars and Stripes

Have you ever had one of those days, where you work on something all day long, only to think at the end of it, 'why didn't I scrap this at 11:00 this morning instead of persevering?'. Saturday was exactly like that for me...I worked on a project for a whole day, knowing that there was something not quite right and getting more and more frustrated by the minute, "trying" to get it right. In the end, I finally decided to give up but was so frustrated to have lost a whole day!! So today, I came back to the drawing board and managed to start again and finish the whole project in two hours!!! It's funny how things work out, isn't it?!?

Anyway, enough about my tales of crafting woe and time to share my post for today...I hope you like it.
This card was a card that I made for one of the Craftwork Cards shows on QVC, last week. I had some beautiful papers left over from the Shabby Vintage kit, featuring maps of the USA and lots of Stars and Stripes Candi ~ so, there was only one thing that came to mind and here it is...
It wasn't the easiest of cards to photograph but I had a really good try, as I wanted to capture all the detail.

Everything that you see on this card is available from Craftwork Cards and QVC.
So, that's the first of the cards and I'll be back with plenty more during the week.
Before I head off into kitchen to cook dinner, I just wanted to say a big thank you to the very lovely, Zoe who left this award for me on her blog. I was over the moon with it and felt very humbled by her extremely kind words about my work.

Okey dokey, time for me to go...thanks for popping by to look at my little creation of the day and I will be round to take a peek at all your lovely works of art, later tonight when I get to sit down with a cuppa!
See you soon and bye for now!

Oh Christmas Tree...Oh Christmas Tree

I can't believe that it's Thursday!!! Where do these weeks keep going?

Well, as always it's mad busy at Chez Williams' today but there doesn't seem to be much coming out of the production line. My crafting is a bit like my head at the moment...all over the place! lol I've got at least three projects on the go and probably ten whirling around in my mind! So, I'm taking a break...counting to ten and popping on here to say hello and show you all today's Clarity share.

Hope you like it...
Once again, I opted to let the stamps and die cutting do the talking...I just wanted to create an elegant, sophisticated looking Christmas card and after a little bit of embossing, a lot of turning of the wheel on my little pink Cuttlebug and then some stamping, punching and distressing...this is what I came up with.

Well, I'd better get my nose back to the grindstone...there are some little creations that are calling my name and need some tlc to get them looking their very best!!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at today's card!
See you all tomorrow and have a wonderful evening!

All Things Bright and Beautiful...

Happy Monday, everyone and I hope you all had a fabulous weekend...

Mine, was another industrious one...can you hear my creative mind whirring?? lol The middle of each month is always a busy time for me, because that's when the little box of Clarity stamps arrive and I have to become an industrious busy little bee...

But before the little box of tricks arrived, I also received the lovely Project of the Month from Craftwork Cards ~ which is jam packed with all the lovely goodies from the Fruit Scoop collection. If you click here you can see what you get for your money and believe me, there is a lot, enough to make at least 25 cards and probably lots more...you will not be disappointed!!

Some of you might have already seen what my fellow DT members and I have made using this fab collection, over on the Craftwork Cards blog (thank you Lynda, for your lovely comment ~xx) but I thought it would be nice to show you them here and show some of the details, close up. I hope you like them....
The first card is an easel card using elements from the die cut sheet, together with the some of the papers. I love the bright colours and the handstitched look and feel to this whole collection.

And there's even more die cuts which I used on the second card...I did say you got a LOT for your money!!!

Right, I'd better get back to the land of Clarity and inky fingers but I'll be back tomorrow, with some more cards, using MORE items from this collection!!
Hope you all have a fabulous week!

See you soon!

Just a reminder, as the original post was lost during Blogger's meltdown last week but the new issue of Making Cards Magazine is out, now and I would love to hear what you think of the Beautiful Birds set of cards, that I made for it. Looking forward to your comments... x

Silver Fruit Upon Silver Trees

Happy Wednesday, everyone!!

As promised, here's the next card in my little mini series of the cards that I made for the ClarityStamp show on Create and Craft, last Sunday.
To be honest, with this batch of cards and stamps, it was really hard for me to have a favourite...I really was so very pleased with all the cards that I made but I did enjoy making this particular one. Getting messy with Distress Inks and embossing powders is something that I love doing and I just thought the colours worked so well on this image and also, with the verse.

Okey dokey, I think I should head to the kitchen and see what I can make for dinner. Jamie Oliver's cookbook is at the ready and I'm going to see if Jamie's true to his word and it really does take just 30 minutes to make these meals!
I'll see you all tomorrow and I hope that you all have a wonderful evening on this rainy Wednesday!

Glitz & Glamour

Hi everyone and thank you so much for all your Get Well wishes for my Dad...I've passed them on and it made him chuckle, to think that he was having his 15 minutes of fame on the internet. He's not doing too good today but we've been through so much worse in the past and we know that if we got through that...we can get through this! One thing you can always say about the Williams'...we're fighters!!

So, in the meantime...I obviously haven't been able to get my creative juices flowing but here's one I made earlier. Hope you like it!
This card is made using the Glitz & Glamour paper collection from Craftwork Cards. I absolutely love these papers and think they work so well with the lime green and pink. I made the card blank by using one of my Nestabilities shapes and running it through the Cuttlebug, to give me the basic easel card blank.

Well, I'd better get back to the patient...he needs a cup of tea and his medication! Just call me Florence Nightingale! lol

See you soon and hope you all keep well!!
