To Have and to Hold...

Hi everyone...it's another flying visit from me again today...and the penultimate of my Clarity shares. I think this was probably my favourite of the cards that I made for the shows at the weekend and I hope you like it too!!
The image was stamped onto watercolour paper, die cut with a Nestabilities die and then, handpainted using a waterbrush and Distress Markers. The background is embossed with a Crafters Workshop Stencil and I used a Martha Stewart PATP set to create the border.

I'll be back tomorrow with my final creation from the shows and I'll be visiting all your blogs later tonight when I sit down with a cuppa.

Thank you all for being there during this tough week!
Love and hugs, Emma xxx

Halloween Horrors ~ Sarah Hurley Challenge

Evening all!!!

Hope you've all had a fabulous day and that you're now relaxing and enjoying the rest of your evening!!

Tomorrow, I'll be back with my final cards from the Clarity shows that were on last weekend and as always, I've saved my favourite card for last!! I'm sure if you watched any of the shows, you'll know exactly which one it is...

But the reason that there's no Clarity card is because today is the start of a brand new challenge over on Sarah Hurley's Challenge Blog and we would love you to all come and join us for "HALLOWEEN HORRORS".

This challenge is sponsored by DERWENT and the lucky winner will win a prize from Derwent themselves, a set of 24 Coloursoft Pencils (Sarah's favourite colouring pencils!) in a wooden presentation box. The DT have done a fabulous job to inspire you all with their creations and if you're still in need of something to kickstart your mojo...here's what I made ~ I hope you like it!!!
I made a table centrepiece from an old beer bottle and if you look closely, there's actually little witches flying on their broomsticks, all around the neck of the bottle. I used Sarah's papers and the adage ticket, from the Vintage Halloween Digi Kit to create the label, rosettes and tag around the bottle neck, together with lots of different Tim Holtz Alterations die cuts and a Spellbinder one, thrown in for good measure!! I finally added some paper roses on wire stems and some twine around the bottle neck to complete my 'potion bottle"!!!

Thanks for stopping by and for taking the time to look at my little creation.
See you all tomorrow!!

What Goes Around...

Well another day and another share and I hope you like them!! It's amazing how many cards you can make when you're on a roll and earlier today, as if I haven't got enough to keep me busy, in a moment of tranquility when my mojo was having a cup of tea and a Cadbury's Flake, I actually counted up how many I've made over the last three weeks and...*drumroll*...can you believe it's over 100 cards!?! I didn't know I had it in me ~ lol! I'm just waiting for the adrenaline to stop pumping and Mr Mojo to go on holiday!!

I've only got Freeview, so unfortunately it means that I miss quite a few of the shows and I'm not sure if this card has actually been shown on air but if you have seen it, then let me know and as always, I love hearing your comments...those are what really count to me, the lovely, kind words of my friends.

Here's the second card for today and I hope that the photos pick up on all the detail, including the embossed bark on the gorgeous silver birch tree trunks.

Well, that's all for today...thank you for stopping by and taking a look.
See you tomorrow with some more little creations!

Love and hugs, Emma

BOO!

Happy Friday, everyone and a big hello to all my new followers!! *waves* Hope you have all had a wonderful week and looking forward to an even better weekend!!

It's been another busy day for me working on some samples for something that I hope I can tell you more about in the coming weeks *excited handclaps* but there is something that I can tell you all about now...*more excited handclaps* and that is...I am very honoured to now be a member of Sarah Hurley's fabulous Design Team. Sarah is a very good friend of mine and I really hope you will all join in over on Sarah's challenge blog...it would be lovely to see all my friends and a few familiar faces!

So, before I head off to watch Eastenders and spend the night in front of the TV....

3....2....1...ta~dah ~ I present the last card from my Craftwork Cards/CHA haul!!! *phew* I never thought I'd get there! lol But when I was initially asked, all those months ago, if I would like to join in with the other DT members to make samples for Craftwork Cards', Cross Promotional Partnership with Spellbinders, I just knew that there was one card that I had to make and that was a Halloween card. And here it is, I hope you like it...
All the bats are die cut using the Nested Bats Nestabilities and apart from the ribbon, everything else you see on this card is available to buy from Craftwork Cards.

I know I might sound like a broken record but once again, thank you for all the comments you've left on all my Craftwork Cards projects....you really do make all the hard work, worthwhile! :)

See you all next week and have a fabulous weekend!!

Santa Stop Here

Hmm, today is definitely one of those days where I really think I need to become Wonder Woman...so much to do and not enough hands.

Yesterday, I spent a lovely day with Kim, Sarah and Buffy, at a Kuretake meet up in London. Good food, some crafty shopping (thank you, Kim for leading Sarah and me, into temptation ~ hehe) and lots of smiles. And of course, it was really nice to be able to see all the samples, in the flesh, that each of us made for today's Kuretake shows on Create and Craft. If you want to catch the shows, they will be on at 4:00 and 7:00 later today. I'll be showing all my samples in detail, next week. Hope you'll come and have a look!

But because I was out yesterday and didn't get in until late last night, I didn't get a chance to share the penultimate samples from my Craftwork Cards hoard. But here they are...I hope you like them!
Something a little different for Christmas...I love hot pink and lime for an alternative Christmas card and I just thought this worked so well, against the black backdrop. The bauble was die cut using Spellbinders  2011 Heirloom Ornament Dies, scored and stuck together, to make this 3D hanging ornament.

And this is my Christmas door hanger...ready to hang on the door for Santa to know where to leave all those pressies!

All papers, cardstock, messages, Candi and Chipboard are available to buy from Craftwork Cards

So, tomorrow will be the final project! *phew* lol
Hope you can come back to take a look and I've really loved reading all the comments you've been leaving me. You've all been so very kind and I can't thank you enough! :)

See you tomorrow and enjoy the rest of your day!
I'll be around to comment on all your creations, asap!

Confetti

Evening everyone! Hope you are all well and had a lovely Tuesday...

It's just a quick post from me tonight and of course, as promised, it's another share from the Craftwork Cards/CHA samples!! I really didn't realize just how many cards and projects I made until I've started to share them with you but it keeps me busy and in turn, busy always keeps me out of trouble! And in this house, TROUBLE seems to be a word that says 'hello' on a regular basis. lol
This card used some papers from the Confetti collection and I thought they were perfect for a Christmas card. Of course, there's a combination of lots of Spellbinder die cuts on there, together with all that lovely Candi. The chipboard letters were primed with Claudine Hellmuth's, Multi Medium and then painted with some Antique Gold, Eco Green acrylic paint.

All products are available to buy from Craftwork Cards

Thank you for popping by to take a look at what I've been making!
See you tomorrow with another share and hope you all have a lovely evening!

Food For Thought...

Hi everyone!!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend and ready for a new week!! I've been busy, busy, busy...crafting my little socks off...all my Clarity samples for the August shows are done. Kuretake show samples are done and now, I'm starting work on something exciting and new...hopefully, I can reveal a little more in the coming weeks but for now, I have boxes of goodies, all ready and waiting for me to play with.

But back to the here and now and, another day brings yet more goodies from my Craftwork Cards shares and thank you, for all your lovely comments about my work. My friends and followers are simply THE BEST! xx

And here it is...something a little different and another project that was hard to part with...my recipe book!
The inspiration behind this, came from a book that my Mum had when I was little. She used to write all her recipes in this book she bought from WHSmith and I can remember all the times I would pull up a chair, stand on it to reach the kitchen worktops and help Mum cook. And of course, the best bit was licking the bowl, from the chocolate cake mix! Mmm Hmm!

The inside of the book, stamped with an Anna Griffin stamp from her Kitchen set of stamps.

Paper, Candi, cardstock, chipboard book, chipboard letters are available from Craftwork Cards

Right, I'm off to watch the rest of Eastenders and then I think I have a date with George Clooney and the Blu-Ray player!

See you tomorrow with yet more projects from Craftwork Cards.
Enjoy your evenings, everyone!

Where Flowers Bloom, So Does Hope...

The sun is shining and today, I plan to have a typical Sunday. The garden is being given the once over, the lawn is being cut and then it will be a nice glass of wine, a roast dinner and maybe, I might even indulge in a good film, come the end of the day...bliss!

So, I hope everyone else is having a great Sunday, so far and I thought I'd just pay a flying visit to say hello and show you today's share from my Craftwork Cards and Spellbinders projects. Please, let me know if I'm boring you to death with all these! lol But I did say I had a LOT of fun making them and to be honest, once that Cuttlebug started...it just kept on churning out more and more die cuts for me to work with. It would have been rude to say no to all that Candi that needed a home...
I LOVE this colour combination ~ just gorgeous!

All the paper, Candi and cardstock that I used to make this card, is available from Craftwork Cards.

See you all tomorrow with some more shares and don't forget to see what lovely creations the rest of the DT have made over on the Craftwork Cards blog...they are absolutely gorgeous!

Happy Sunday!

Bouquet of Flowers

Happy Weekend and hello, to all my lovely followers.

Sorry, if I went M.I.A. this week...it's been an eventful week, to say the least. The life of Emma is never a dull one...in fact, if Hollywood came knocking at my door, I think they'd have a major blockbuster on their hands!!

Anyway, where was I when I was so rudely interrupted by my body which refuses to behave, at the moment? I'm sure some of you have been catching up with all the Design Team's CHA projects, over on the Craftwork Cards blog. It's been so lovely to see what the DT made and I really hope that you're enjoying my shares, too! And here's today's project ~ I hope you like it!
The box was a cheap papier-mâché box from Hobbycraft, which I covered with some gorgeous papers from the Craftwork Cards, Confetti collection. The flowers are made using a combination of Spellbinders dies ~ the Blossom Three die and the Rose Creations die. I added some die cut leaves and foliage, built up my Spellbinders Nesties shapes and added the Candi. Oh, how it broke my heart to let this little beauty go... :"( ~lol!!

Well, I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday and I'll try and pop on tomorrow with some more Craftwork Cards, shares. Thank you for all your well wishes and hugs on my last post ~ you really are the best!! And Katina, thank you for your comment, hehe...I've made a note and when Tim comes knocking at my door to travel the crafty world with him and his team, you can definitely be my PA!! :D

I'll be round to catch up on all the latest news in blogland, asap and comment on what you've all been up to!
See you soon!
