Christmas Sparkle....

Evening everyone...it's another quick share from me for tonight and some more Christmas card inspiration!!

Once again, as with the last couple of posts that I've shared with you all ~ this set of cards were made for the December issue of Making Cards Magazine and feature some gorgeous stencils, Sparkle Medium and decoupage stamps from Imagination Crafts.

For more detail of how I made these cards, you can buy back issues of Making Cards Magazine, HERE!

Some of my regular blogging buddies might remember in my last post that I mentioned I'd taken some pictures of the Christmas lights in London's West End. If...I say, IF...I get all my jobs done, I'm hoping to get back into London this coming week, to take some more photos and be part of that Christmas spirit that you get wandering around the bustling streets of my favourite city but for now, here's some of the photos that I've taken so far!! Enjoy....
Oxford Street, London W1
South Molton Street, London W1
Regent Street,  London W1
...and of course, no visit to London is complete without a visit to my favourite shop!!!

That's all from me for today but thank you so much for taking the time to say hello and visit me and take a look at my latest creation ~ I can't wait to read all your comments!! I'll be visiting all my lovely blogging buddies asap to say hello but until then...bye for now and see you tomorrow!

Sleigh Bells Ring...Are You Listening?

Happy Sunday everyone!

Hope you're all ok and having a lovely weekend. I just thought I'd drop by to say hello and thank you all for the lovely comments you left on my tag that I made for The Artistic Stamper. Especially, one person who left a comment for me on Twitter...
Yes, as you can imagine when this tweet arrived in my timeline, I couldn't actually breathe!! Lord Tim Holtz had said that my tag was "so cool"!!! *faints*!!! LOL! As you know, there are a couple of men in my life that have this effect on me, David Beckham is one and the other is Lord Tim!! Believe me, that night, there was a little happy dance at Chez Williams'...thank you Tim for giving me a little boost that day!!

So, after that little bit of excitement, time to share the last of my Imagination Crafts cards... as always, I hope you like them!
For these cards, I wanted to show you how this particular stencil can look different on various surfaces. On the first card, I applied to colours of Sparkle Medium onto black glossy card to create the night time scene of Santa racing over the rooftops and matted and layered it onto a white card blank from Craftwork Cards.

For my second card, I applied black Sparkle Medium paste onto acetate and created a little shadow box.

So, I really hope that you've enjoyed these Imagination Crafts samples as much as I did making them. I am over the moon that I was asked to join the team and so far, I have loved working with the products and trying new and different techniques!!

For all Imagination Crafts products, please click HERE!

Okey dokey, I'm off to have one more caffeine buzz, then there is work to be done...not sure whatever happened to lazy Sundays, they seem to be a thing of the past these days!!

See you all tomorrow with some more little creations!!
Bye for now...love Emma xxx

Friendship Like The Holly Tree...

"Love is like the wild rose-briar; Friendship like the holly-tree. The holly is dark when the rose-briar blooms, but which will bloom most constantly?"

Good morning everyone!!

Another very quick post from Chez Williams' this morning and another of the cards that I made for Imagination Crafts...as always, I hope you like it!!
When I opened my box of goodies, the first thing that struck me about all the designs were how wonderfully 'Chrismassy' they all were and this one in particular is just so traditional, it was just gorgeous and for this card, I decided to not use any stencils but to just showcase the gorgeous decoupage stamps. I coloured the image with Promarkers and the the background is created using a Martha Stewart All Over The Page Punch.

Time for me to start crafting...I have a full day planned and plenty to do and this very bad blogging buddy will make a concerted effort to visit all your blogs later!! Between all work and no play and an extremely dodgy internet connection...I haven't been around as much as I should and for that, I apologise!! But thank you to all of you for your visits here and I really appreciate your continued support and your lovely comments.

See you all soon and bye for now!

Christmas Rose...

From a dull, cold and very damp London...hello everyone ~ Happy Monday!!

Hope you all had a good weekend and you're now ready for another week. It's a flying visit from me, as I need to get back to the craft room, (previously known as the dining room...we haven't eaten off that table since Christmas, I'm not sure I even know what it looks like anymore...haha)!!!! At the moment, I'm working on an exciting new project that I will be able to tell you all about very soon but for now, and as promised...here is the second card project that I made for Imagination Crafts. As always, I love hearing what you think about my cards and I hope you like this one.

It wasn't the easiest card to photograph, but I've taken lots of pics to show you all the details, including the gorgeous decoupage stamps and the yummy Sparkle Medium Paste, that I used through a stencil. Also to show you the versatility of these stencils, I also used the same stencil to dry emboss the card stock that I used on the front of my card.

So, I really hope the cards I've shown so far has inspired you to try some of Imagination Crafts gorgeous products...if they have, then click HERE to see the full range of what they sell.

I'll be round later for a long overdue catch up and to see what everyone has been up to, since my last visit...see you all soon!
Bye for now...love Emma xxx

All That Sparkles...

Hello everyone!!

Remember me? Eek, I can't believe it's been nearly a week since my last post and to everyone who has emailed me or sent me messages, I am ok...just been run off my feet making lots of new cards and projects to share with you all on here!! I've also got a few exciting developments in the pipeline which I'm working on and will be able to share with you all very soon!!

In the meantime, this is the first of one of my new projects that I made for Imagination Crafts. When I got my DT parcel, I just didn't know where to start with all the lovely goodies that I'd been sent but this is the first card that I made, using stencils, the gorgeous Sparkle Medium and the decoupage stamps!! As always, I hope you like it and I can't wait to hear what you think...just be kind!! tee hee....
If you haven't tried this paste...then it's a MUST HAVE!! Just look at that sparkle, it is gorgeous and it's not just for stencilling...you can do so much with it ~ please try it because you will love it, just as much as I did!! As you can see, the stamps are equally as fabulous, fantastic quality and I just adored this Christmas tree design.

Right, time for me to go and try out my new glasses that I picked up today!! Let's hope that they work, otherwise if you see any squiffy lines on my projects...blame the glasses or call it artistic license!! lol!

Thanks for stopping by to take a look at what I made and I'll be visiting all your blogs, later!!

Time Flies...

Today, has been another one of those "crazy days" ...and where do these days keep going? Time flies when you're having fun....

But I always have time to share my latest creations with all my friends and here's some more samples that I made for the Clarity Stamp's show on Create and Craft.

Once again, completely different in their style...but I was so pleased with both of these samples.
I also must say that on this sample, I used Imagination Crafts ~ Silkies Paints, which created the background colour to my Spellbinders Die Cut shape and I was blown away with the look that they gave me. They give such a rich, luxurious finish and the colours are stunning. If you haven't tried them...I thoroughly recommend them! The flowers that you can see are die cut using Tim Holtz's Tattered Florals Die from Sizzix and I coloured in the stamped image with Promarkers.

Then there is this card...I love the dramatic effect that black and cream can give and I absolutely love the simplicity of this card. The flower etchings on these stamps were so intricate that I wanted to let those speak for themselves and because I adore the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, I took my inspiration from him and his wonderful works of art. As soon as I saw the stamps, I thought these would look amazing as "tiles" on the front of a card...so, that's what I did!

So, all that's left to say is a big thank you to all that commented on my last two posts...you're all amazing and each and every one of your comments makes my day!
Thank you!

See you soon...

Dreaming of a white Christmas...

Another weekend has come and gone and even though I had a great one, I'm now coming back down to earth with a bump and a cold, which in the life and times of a very busy crafter...isn't the greatest of timing but...the show must go on!!

So, today is going to be a quick share and then, on strict orders from someone who knows who they are, I'm going to rest!!

And here is the card that I want to show you all today...
I actually came across the shape of this card by accident. I love trying to create new shapes and I was just  messing around with pieces of card and card blanks and all of a sudden, this happened and I love it. Hope you do too...

So, what did I use to make this card?
Snowman Window Stamp: Imagination Crafts
Message stamp: Kanban
Snowflakes and Label Dies: Spellbinders
Snowflake Embossing folder: Cuttlebug
Punches:  Martha Stewart PATP snowflake
Colouring Mediums: Promarkers
Backing Paper: Die Cut With A View
Inks: Memento/Versamark
Glitter: Stickles
Ribbon and button to complete the card!

I'm now going to snuggle up on the sofa and take it easy for the rest of the night...
Thanks for stopping by...see you again soon!
