Remember This...

Hi everyone!!

Hope you're all having a fabulous weekend, so far and fingers crossed that there is a little bit of sunshine where you are! The weather has been truly awful this last week but today, the sun has been  making an on/off appearance and I even saw a little bit of a blue sky!!

Anyway, I'm back today with another of my makes using the fab Check In Collection from Kaisercraft which is available to buy, along with so many other gorgeous goodies from Merly Impressions.

For this particular piece I decided to get a bit inky and make another layout using elements from the collection, including the acetate shapes, the printed tickets, rub on's and the collectables die cuts!!
Layout using Check-In collection
If you want to read more about how I created this layout and what I used then please click HERE!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to have a look at my inky layout and I really hope you liked it!!

Have a fabulous weekend and when I get to eventually sit down later this evening, I will be visiting you all to say hello!!
See you soon and bye for now!

Special...

To be honest, I'm not sure what happened to this week...where did it go?? One minute, it was Monday...the next, it's Thursday and in between times...my "to do" list is still as long!!

...but whilst I've been beavering away on some new projects which I will be able to show you all very soon, this week saw the new issue of the Making Cards Vintage Special hit the shops and...woohoo, I have all seven of my card projects featured plus one one the cover!! *happy dance*...and celebrations!! :)
...and here's one of the cards that I was asked to make to promote the issue...I hope you like it!!
The card features papers and toppers from the Vintage Special...and I used one of Craftwork Cards' gorgeous card blanks and then, added some seam binding, an embossed background which I created using a Crafter's Workshop Template and, buttons to complete it.

Okey dokey, time for me to catch up on all your blogs and watch some footy...hope you all have a lovely evening and thank you so much for stopping by and having a look at my lil creation...as always, I really appreciate all the comments and love to read each and every one!!

See you all soon and bye for now...

To Have and to Hold...

Hi everyone...it's another flying visit from me again today...and the penultimate of my Clarity shares. I think this was probably my favourite of the cards that I made for the shows at the weekend and I hope you like it too!!
The image was stamped onto watercolour paper, die cut with a Nestabilities die and then, handpainted using a waterbrush and Distress Markers. The background is embossed with a Crafters Workshop Stencil and I used a Martha Stewart PATP set to create the border.

I'll be back tomorrow with my final creation from the shows and I'll be visiting all your blogs later tonight when I sit down with a cuppa.

Thank you all for being there during this tough week!
Love and hugs, Emma xxx

Pale Little Dandelion

Another flying visit from me, as I'm just finishing off a top secret project and I've been so engrossed in getting it all done, that I totally forgot that I hadn't posted these final samples from the Clarity shows, as promised. So here they are and I really hope you like them.

I think this stamp has to be one of my favourites that I've worked with since joining the Clarity DT. There's something so serene and beautiful about the image and as I've said before with many of my previous Clarity samples...I wanted to keep this card quite clean in it's style, so that stamps spoke for themselves, and you could see the beauty of them.
On this card, I used one of the corner stamps and coloured the tiny detail with Promarkers. Once again, I let the stamps do the talking and I just thought this would be the most beautiful card for Mother's Day.

So, that's about it from me and my Clarity samples for this month...I hope you've enjoyed them all and you liked the diversity of the stamps that I had to work with. I've loved reading all your comments and it's so nice that this collection has bought me so many new friends and followers.

Hope you all have a wonderful evening.
Bye for now and see you very soon!

Doodle Mania

Happy Saturday, everyone! Hope you've all had a wonderful start to your weekend.

I just wanted to drop by to tell you all about a new challenge that has started over on the Kuretake Blog and it's all about DOODLE MANIA!! There will be three winners chosen at random and there are some fabulous prizes to be won. If you would like to see some of the DT's inspiration then click HERE...there are some amazing doodles to get your creative juices flowing!

For my doodle, I got very inky with some Kuretake Art and Graphic Twin pens, creating colour washes for the background and created a journal page...I hope you like it!
I used the Dylusions by Dyan Reaveley, Around The Edge Stamp Set and stamped onto my colour washed background. I then used various Kuretake pens to colour the images, before applying more ink through some Crafters Workshop masks. I then added my words and other various doodles onto the page, using a Zig Painty Pens and Kuretake Writer Pens.
So, that's about it from me for today and thank you for stopping by to take a look at my little inky journal page. I will be visiting all your blogs, later tonight after consuming the Chinese takeaway that I'm being treated to!! :)

See you soon and bye for now!
