To begin with, I just wanted to say a big "HELLO" to all my new followers ~ thank you so much for following my blog and I hope you enjoy the stories and creations that appear here regularly!! :)

I also wanted to say, THANK YOU for all your amazing comments that you left on my last blog post...I was overwhelmed with the response and you all just blew me away. I was especially jumping for joy when I saw THE Wendy Vecchi had left me a comment...Wendy is someone who I greatly admire and whose work always makes is just amazing...so, as you can imagine, seeing a comment from Wendy really made my day!! Also, thank you to Mel Hookham for your lovely comment ~ it made me LOL and I won't tell if you won't!! Tee hee... ;)

Anyway back to today, and I'm sharing a few of my latest projects over on the Craftwork Cards Blog and if you click HERE, you can see all the projects, with lots of detailed photos and all the details of what I used and links to all the gorgeous CWC products. But to whet your appetites, I thought I would share just a few sneaky peeks before you head on over there....

As always, I hope you like them....
I made this little mini album using my trusty Sizzix/Tim Holtz Alterations dies to cut the pages and used papers and embellishments from Craftwork Cards to decorate it.
Boxes and kraft flowers are all available to buy from Craftwork Cards

...as is the wreath!!!

...and last but by no means least ~ a card!!!

So, if you LOVE Craftwork Cards and you're inspired by my makes and would like to make some of your own ~ then this weekend, is definitely the weekend to go and treat yourself to some new and really fabulous goodies and I can't wait to see all your makes.

Memories...

Morning everyone!!

Today, I'm sharing something I'm really proud of and I hope you love it, just as much as I loved making it!! So, without further ado...ta~dah....here is my Memories Album!!! Sorry for the photo overload but there was a lot to show...so, sit down with a nice cuppa and enjoy....
Would you believe that this actually started life as two cardboard boxes??? But with a lick of paint from a couple of Adirondack Paint Dabbers, I transformed those boxes into these brushed metal look covers, which I then went about decorating, with lots of my favourite bits and pieces and using some of my favourite Sizzix/Tim Holtz dies!!
The flowers are all made using the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die from Sizzix and I coloured the plain cream card using Dylusions Spray Inks and Perfect Pearls Mists from Ranger. I've added various bits of Tim's Idea-ology, including the fab Hitch Fasteners, which woohoo....are finally back!!!

For the inside of the book, I used paints, inks and some of my favourite stamps from Tim.

So, that's about it from me for today and I really hope I've inspired you to make a little memory book of your own!! They are such fun to make and I really enjoyed building up the pages....now, all I need to do is fill them with photos and voila!! I'm done!!

Thank you for stopping by to take a look at what I've created and I'm really looking forward to reading all your lovely comments!
See you all soon...bye for now!

Wish You Were Here....

So, when the weather is as miserable as it is right now, what better way to beat those winter blues than to start looking ahead to Summer and when I was sent this collection to play with, at the end of December, that's exactly what I did...

The collection of papers and elements is of course from the wonderful Kaisercraft and is called Tropicana and this is the little mini book that I created with it...I hope you like it!!
You can see exactly how I made it and what I used if you head on over to the Merly Impressions Blog, click HERE. The only added additions were the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vintage Valise Die, some chipboard and seam binding.

The only thing that is now left for me to do is...fill it up and I can't wait!!

Right, I have an appointment with the x-ray department today so...I'd better get myself ready for my appearance and photo session!!

See you all soon with another of my creations from my stash that have come in so useful whilst I can't create anything new...bye for now!

Colours of the Rainbow

Just a quick post from me today because I wanted to let you all know that there is a fab Today's Special Value, over on QVC today ~ 100 sheets of Bazzill Basics 12" x 12" Cardstock ~ but you'll have to be quick, as it's selling fast.

There is so much that you will NEED this card for and here are some of my projects that I made using this quality cardstock.
A couple of scrapbooking pages, made from a background of the cardstock, which you can use with your dies and punches.

A little mini book of "Creative Thoughts", made up with the cardstock and papers. I then stamped some of my favourite Tim Holtz quotes and added some embellishments.

A few cards using the cardstock, together with some gorgeous Prima stamps. I used the cardstock as a base card blank, and also for matting and layering.

So, that's about it from me for today and I really hope you like the projects I've made. I'm off to watch, and spot some more of my card projects throughout the day.
Hope you all have a fabulous Wednesday!!
Bye for now.
