Wish You Were Here....

So, when the weather is as miserable as it is right now, what better way to beat those winter blues than to start looking ahead to Summer and when I was sent this collection to play with, at the end of December, that's exactly what I did...

The collection of papers and elements is of course from the wonderful Kaisercraft and is called Tropicana and this is the little mini book that I created with it...I hope you like it!!
You can see exactly how I made it and what I used if you head on over to the Merly Impressions Blog, click HERE. The only added additions were the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vintage Valise Die, some chipboard and seam binding.

The only thing that is now left for me to do is...fill it up and I can't wait!!

Right, I have an appointment with the x-ray department today so...I'd better get myself ready for my appearance and photo session!!

See you all soon with another of my creations from my stash that have come in so useful whilst I can't create anything new...bye for now!

  1. When I was a young girl, I often made little books. Nothing as elaborate or well-themed as this wonderful creation, Emma, but along the same lines. Sometimes I'd share it with a friend and we'd form an imaginary 'club'.

Once my Dad took tiny photos of us and made little badges, using the first parts of our names - The Shanna Club. I wonder where Anna is now.

This piece reminded me of that story and also poignantly suggested who you might like to share your little book with. I think I know.
