Time For A Tea Dance

Good morning everyone!!

Just a quick visit from me today because on the first Saturday every month, it's my turn to share my DT pieces over on the Craftwork Cards Blog and today, I'm sharing a couple of projects that I made using the extremely gorgeous Tea Dance collection.

If you haven't got this collection yet, then I really don't know what you're waiting for because it really is stunning and now, is definitely the time to buy it if you do want it because Craftwork Cards have launched their brand new revamped website and to celebrate the launch, you get 15% discount on your first order from the new website!!

...and if you need any more persuading, here's a little peek of what I created using Tea Dance. For lots more detailed photos and information on what I used, then just click HERE to be whisked over to the Craftwork Cards Blog.
With the exception of the seam binding, buttons and dies, everything that I used to create both of these products is available at Craftwork Cards. To created the wording die cut from chipboard and painted with PaperArtsy Fresco Finish paint, I used the Sizzix/Tim Holtz Word Play die and the rosettes are all created using Tim Holtz Mini Rosette die.
So, that's it from me for today...I'm now ready for another caffeine injection before starting a new month of creativity!! Hope you all have a fabulous weekend and the sun shines for you, wherever you are!!
Thank you so much for dropping by today and I can't wait to read all your comments, either here or on the Craftwork Cards blog.
See you all again very soon....love Emma xxx

Dare To Dream ~ 12 Tags For 2013

Afternoon everyone!!

When I saw the new 12 Tags for 2013 challenge, HERE on Tim Holtz's blog...I just knew that I had to join in with this one, asap!! All my favourite colours and products, including Wendy Vecchi's Clearly For Art Modelling Film, all in one gorgeous tag ~ it was too much to resist!!! So, my inky fingers got to work and this is what I created ~ as always, I hope you like it!!

Now, I'm not a proud owner of those new Metallic Distress Paints.............YET!!!! But for my tag, I used a combination of the other Distress Paints, together with the Metallic Stains and I think it worked out great!!
I've aged all my Idea-ology pieces with Distress Paint and Stains, to give that gorgeous patina look to them and then, because I wanted to do something a little bit different and you know me...I LOVE my Sizzix Alterations dies ~ I die cut some of the Gadget Gears from chipboard and went about ageing them too!!

Finally, I mounted my tag onto some black card and guess what???? Yep...even that came in for a splash of Distress Paint!!
The number 4 is also die cut from chipboard, using the Word Play die.
Finally, I added a stamped message using the Tim Holtz Simple Sayings Stamp Set and that was me done!!

Well, that's it for me for today and as always, thank you so much for stopping by to take a look at what I've created. I can't wait to read all your comments ~ they always mean so much!!
See you all again very soon...Love Emma xxx

Americana...

Morning everyone...hope you all had a fabulous weekend and ready for the start of a new week!

As you all know by now, when it comes to Tim Holtz products, they do make me go a little bit weak at the knees and when I saw this Americana Blueprint stamp set on it's release, there was no exception to that rule...I just knew I had to have it!! So, as soon as it became available in the UK, it was in my basket quicker than you could say "would you like it?"...lol and as soon as it arrived at Chez Williams', I had to make something with it and this is what I created...

I created this way back in December, which seems so long ago but I've been saving it to show you all and today, is the day I thought I'd share! So, as always I hope you like it...
To begin with, I covered a large tag with Tissue Wrap, blended it with Distress Inks and then used the Snow Cap Adirondack Paint Dabber around the edges.
I used the Sizzix Rosette and Mini Rosette die to create the pinwheels, which I coloured individually using Distress Inks. The stamp is one of four in the set from the Americana Blueprint Stamps by Stampers Anonymous and I handpainted it using Distress Marker Pens.
I used various bits and pieces to complete my tag, including an old buttong, a stamped ticket, seam binding and the star, which I cut out from another of the stamps in the set and then mounted onto card, before adding it to my tag. Finally, I added USA onto the rosettes which I die cut using the WordPlay die and then added Glossy Accents over the top and a coating of Distress Dry Rock Candy glitter.

So, that's it from me for today...I really hope I've given you some inspiration with my tag and I can't wait to read all your comments!!

See you all again very soon and thank you so much for your continued support, it really does mean the world to me...
Bye for now...love Emma xxx

Pretty Fabulous by Craftwork Cards

Happy Friday, everyone!!

Just popping by to say hope you all have a wonderful weekend and to let you know about a very special kit, designed and created by the very wonderful Julie Hickey for the Craftwork Cards Privilege Club. The kit is called "Pretty Fabulous" and it comes in two formats...with, or without the Printers Block stamps and if you are a member of this very exclusive club, then you can now buy this kit HERE from Craftwork Cards.

I was lucky enough to be sent this kit and was asked to create something using it and if you head on over to the Craftwork Cards blog, you can read all about it and also, see Julie's stunning projects.

In the meantime, here's what I made using the kit...as always, I hope you like it!!!

For my project, I used Tim Holtz's Mini Tattered Florals dies to create the blooms as the focal point. I then used the kraft card and die cut the Movers and Shapers Leaf and Branch, added some of the elements from the kit, together with ribbon and Candi, before using the Word Play die to die cut the word "Gift"!

The tri~fold card is fixed into the box and pops out to stand proud on any mantlepiece!

Finally, I made a tag to complete the project!
So, I promised you something very special today from Craftwork Cards and I hope you think this kit is as fabulous as I do and you're inspired by my make!!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend and see you next week with some more of my little creations from Chez Williams'!!
Bye for now...love Emma xxx
