Hello friends!!
Well, yesterday was eventful here at Chez Williams'!! The regular visitors to my blog will know that when I logged onto my blog yesterday I was faced with the mystery of 119 missing photos! You can imagine how I felt, all my work disappeared in a flash and what was worse, they had also disappeared from The Artistic Stamper Creative Team blog and from Craftwork Cards...arghhhhh! So, after spending all morning trying everything I could think of, I decided there was nothing else for it but to manually reload and restore every photo that was missing on all the blogs I'm connected to! Big sigh...
...I finally finished this mammoth task, this morning and please keep your fingers crossed that nothing, not one tiny image disappears!! If it does and you hear screams from NW London, you'll know why!! Lol... The moral of this tale is: always keep back ups of your photos, if I hadn't have had them, I would have lost so much work and would've been heartbroken!!
So now, without further ado ~ it's time to share my penultimate DT samples that I created for the Clarity Stamp shows at the weekend and here they are. As always, I hope you love them!
Out of all the samples that I made for June, I think this has to be my favourite. I just loved those silhouettes against that cloudy sky at dusk.
The background was created using Distress Inks and I built up the scene using a selection of the stamps that Barbara was using in her Classroom shows.
The second card is using the miniature Wrought Iron set of stamps, together with the Clarity characters. For this card, I created a summer's day background and then stamped the silhouette of girl onto scene and then I used the separate umbrella stamp and stamped that directly onto the background, to give the effect of the girl holding it.
So, that's it from me for today and tomorrow, will see the final share of my samples.
Thank you so much for stopping by to take a look at what I've created and I can't wait to read your comments!
See you soon and bye for now...love Emma xxx

Yet again, the depth and clarity (smile) of these pieces screams out ART to me! Craft is what Emma does; art is the result, always.

ReplyDeleteFinally got here to do a mammoth catch up Emma! Love these two, and clearly Barbara did too. She made a point of pointing out the sky on the first one, and no wonder. You are so clever, hugs Jenny x
