Fly Me To The Moon...

Happy Friday to everyone I know...I hope you're all looking forward to a fabulous weekend, whatever you have planned.

I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for all your lovely comments and kind words about this week's Clarity shares...I hope you've enjoyed them and that I haven't bored you too much!! lol.

Today, is the final card that I made and I think I saved the best until last....enjoy and I hope you like it!!

As you can see, Tim Holtz's Snowflake Rosette dies for Sizzix, did fall into my basket and so far, I have had more than my money's worth out of these...I think they will be on quite a few projects from now, until Christmas!!! I just LOVE them!!!
What you can't see from these photos is that I hand painted the image using Perfect Pearls and it gave it the most wonderful shimmer to the artwork.
So, thank you for your final visit of this week and I'll look forward to reading all your comments. Before I go, I just wanted to mention that if you are a Barbara Gray fan, you might be interested in the latest issue of Crafts Beautiful, which is out now!! Barbara asked two members of her DT to work alongside her for this project and I was one of those lucky people and here's a little sneaky peek of what I made ~ my card is the one on the left!!
Happy Weekend to you all!!
See you soon and bye for now!

London in 2012

Well, the sun hasn't definitely visited us at last and here in London, all I can say is...Emma's a little hot...hot...hot!! lol!

If any of you have managed to see the September issue of Crafts Beautiful, you might have caught a glimpse of the latest card that I worked on for Barbara Gray, together with Barbara's fab card and another from my fellow teamie Paul Church! This is the second time I've been fortunate to work on this project and there will be a third, coming very soon but in the meantime...this is the first one that I created and because the Olympics is nearly here...I thought today would be an appropriate day to share it. I hope you like it....
The card features the London Framer Stamp, together with the London Icon set. I used a gorgeous Mica Mask, from That Special Touch to create my embossed background and a chipboard crown from Craftwork Cards, covered in gold paint and embossing powder.

Okey dokey, it's time for me to go and start creating again...I just wanted to say a quick hello between jobs but I will be back tomorrow with another project and I'll be visiting all your blogs later tonight to see what beautiful creations you've all been making!!
See you soon and for those of us who are baking in this heat...stay cool!!

Bye for now!

London Calling Comes to Crafts Beautiful...

Sometimes in this business, you have to sit on crafty secrets so long...you think you might burst but today, I can finally reveal my latest adventure to everyone ~ and here it is...
As you know, I'm very privileged to be part of the Clarity Stamp Design Team and I was so honoured when Barbara asked me if I would like to create a piece of artwork, together with herself and my fellow team mate, Diane Whitehouse and then, have it featured in Crafts Beautiful magazine. Well, of course...when the call came, I didn't hesitate and my reply was a big resounding...YES and today, I got my little hands on a copy and I'm so excited...I just needed to share!!!

Okey dokey, time for me to celebrate with a cocktail or two... :)
Thank you for all the lovely comments you left on the last post...they mean the world!!
Have a lovely weekend and hope the sun shines where you are!!
See you soon...

Crafts Beautiful ~ Made To Cherish

Today was a big day for me because...I made the cover of a magazine and I could not be happier!

Okay, *smiles* it was a small photo on the cover of one, out of the three cards that I made for a two page spread in Crafts Beautiful magazine, featuring the wonderful Gorjuss products released by The Crafthouse Press ~ but to me...it meant so very much and I'd like to thank John at The Crafthouse Press, for giving me the opportunity of working on this project and everyone at Crafts Beautiful Magazine.

So, below are the cards that I made using all the elements from the packs, together with a few added extras and I cannot stress enough, just how beautiful these products are. The quality of them is superior, with their flittered edges, soft muted colour tones and the wonderful Gorjuss images themselves. Please, if you get the opportunity, try these amazing kits and I promise you, you will not be disappointed.
