On This Day....

Hello friends...

I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend and you're all ready for a new week of adventures!! My week is quite full already and there's lots of projects piling up on the craft table waiting for my attention but today, Mr Mojo isn't playing too nicely even after I coaxed him with copious amounts of coffee and cake!! Oh well, maybe tomorrow... :)

In the meantime, I thought I would share another card that I made for a recent issue of Making Cards Magazine. I know there's a few of my followers who can't get this magazine easily, so...for those people who can't get a copy of the mag, I thought it would be nice to share my cards here on the blog and I really hope you love all of them and especially, this one...
Every month, I work on a project for the Designs With A Difference feature and it's always challenging to come up with a new ideas, sometimes they come together easy, other times...they're a bit more challenging but this card was one of those that just worked perfectly and I was so pleased with how it turned out. For all details of how to make this very special card that was in the August issue, you can buy back issues of the magazine HERE! As you can see, there's quite a lot of detail, so...grab a cuppa and enjoy all the pics...
The papers I used are by Kaisercraft and from the On This Day collection.

With the stepper section closed...
The flowers are by Petaloo and coloured with Distress Stains. I then added die cut leaves around the cluster and a paper bloom through the centre.

Inside the card and a stamped image, together with some fussy cutting.
Well, that's it from me for today and I hope I've inspired you with this card. As always, I really appreciate your visits. At the moment, visitor numbers do seem a little low and my blog is feeling a little sorry for itself so...if you can spread the word and I hope to see some of the old faces back so, I can say hello!!
See you all again soon...love Emma xxx

Travel The World....

Happy Friday everyone...

As promised, I'm back to share the second of my cards that was created for and published in the September issue of Making Cards Magazine. As with the first card that I shared here yesterday, I used another of the gorgeous stamps from Tim Holtz's Travel Blueprint set, coloured with Distress Marker pens and matted onto some Teresa Collins papers. As always, there's lots of pics to show all the detail...so grab a cuppa and I hope you enjoy!!
For more details of this card and many others that I've made, you can buy back issues of the magazines HERE!

Well, that's if from me for this week...hope you all have a fab weekend and thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and see what I've been creating!! I really do appreciate it... :)
See you all soon and bye for now...love Emma xxx

Imagination Is Boundless...

Morning everyone...

Hope you're all having a fabulous week and enjoying this little burst of sunshine and warmth that we've had!! It's as busy as ever here at Chez Williams' but I thought I'd just drop by and say hello and share a little something that I recently made for Making Cards Magazine.

We all know how difficult men's cards are to make and there is so little on the market to make them with!! But when I was asked to make a set for the September issue, I knew exactly what I wanted to do and headed straight for these little babies...Tim Holtz's Travel Blueprint stamp set. With the addition of a few Sizzix die cuts, some Teresa Collins' papers and lots of Distress products, this is the first of the two cards I made ~ as always, I hope you love them!!
All details of how this card is made are in the September issue which is available to buy as a back issue HERE.

Before I love you and leave you today, I've had a few people asking me about the current October issue of Making Cards Magazine and who made the Editor's Selection cards, because the photo next to the cards is, me but it states another contributing designing as making them. So, in answer to all those queries, there's just been a little mix up but yes...I did make all this month's card projects using both of the Editor's Selection paper sets and I also made the card that's featured on the cover of the magazine.
As you can imagine, these things do happen and can't be helped but I hope that clears things up any confusion!! :)

I'll be back tomorrow with the second card in this set and until then, have a great day!
Bye for now...love Emma xx

Imagine Your Dreams ~ Tim's 12 Tags of 2013 ~ September

Hello friends...

Hope you're all having a good week but where has it gone again?? I'm not even sure what happened to Tuesday and could've sworn it was only Wednesday today!! These days are absolutely flying....

After not joining in with Tim's 12 Tags of 2013 last month, I know...*slapped hands*...it's time for me to share what I've created for this month and as always, I really hope that you love it!! For all the information of this month's tag just pop on over to Tim's blog.
I decided to go with the same colours as Tim because I LOVED them but then changed a few things about the rest of the tag.
I did use the fantastic Layering Stencils, which I adore but I didn't have any of Wendy's paste...so, after searching in my cupboard, I came across some Dreamweaver paste which I had years ago and it worked perfectly!! The stamp I used was different and I added a different quote using Chit Chat stickers.
As an added extra, I matted my tag onto kraft card and then added the corrugated die cut stars, which were die cut using the Old Glory die from Sizzix.

So, that's about it from me for today...I'm not ready to do a LOT of cutting for a magazine commission!! If anyone wants to help, call me!! Lol...
Hope you all have a fab day and I'll see you very soon with another share!!
Bye for now...love Emma xxx

Sunshine On A Rainy Day...

Hello friends...
Well, another weekend has whizzed past, the temperatures have dipped considerably and we seem to have plunged into Autumn overnight but as regular followers to my little blog will know...this makes me a very happy girl because I absolutely LOVE this time of year, when the trees start changing from green to vibrant reds and golds, halloween is round the corner, the night's are drawing in and Saturday night TV just got a whole lot better!! What's not to love??? Lol!!

But back to today and I'm sharing the rest of my Clarity DT samples that I made for Barbara's Create and Craft shows at the beginning of the month! As always, I hope you love them...

The whole image for this card is built up using Distress Inks and matted onto co-ordinating cardstock.

The background to this card is created using the Gelli Plate. The image is stamped and embossed onto white card and then built up with Distress Inks.

I used different colours of embossing powder to create the image and then stamped into UTEE to make a seal.

Right, time for me to get back to crack the whip and move onto my next project but thank you so much for stopping by today. I do love reading all your comments and I love to hear what you think of my latest set of Clarity cards.

Enjoy the rest of your day and see you soon!
