Rose Garden

Morning everyone and HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL MY FOLLOWERS IN THE US!!

Hope you're all well and having a good week. Here, at Chez Williams', there's been more drama than in an episode of Downton Abbey!! You might remember that I told you we were having a boiler fitted on Tuesday, well we were told it would run smoothly and the work would take 2 days at the most ~ hahaha!! Famous last words!!! After ripping out the boiler and everything else they needed to remove on Tuesday, we woke early yesterday, only to find the workmen didn't turn up...ALL DAY!! Argghhhhhh!!! Can you believe it??? We were left without heat, hot water and the house slowly turned into an igloo. After getting on to the company to find out what had happened, we were told there was no other engineers that they could send out and the only thing they could do would be to supply us with heaters...well, those disappeared into the black hole along with the workmen! In between all this drama, I'm still coughing for England and feel absolutely awful!!

Anyway, enough about my dramas and back to business....as promised, here is the second of the card projects that I made for Making Cards Magazine. I hope you like it...
The set of card projects featured in Making Cards Magazine
The cards featured the Lil Primrose collection from Kaisercraft which is available from Merly Impressions. I added seam binding, and used a card blank, Candi and messages all available from Craftwork Cards.

Okey dokey, time to make another cuppa and try to thaw myself out!!

Thank you all for popping by and taking a look at today's post...see you all soon with another creation!
Bye for now...love Emma xx

Girl On Film

5:00 in the afternoon and I'm sitting here, writing this blog post and it's still light outside...as the crocuses are popping up all around the garden, I think you can say that Winter is now getting left behind and Spring is definitely on it's way.

Today, another project has been posted off to recipient and I'm now clearing the desk ready for another new and exciting project to move in. In the meantime, here's a couple of scrapbook layouts that I made using some more of those gorgeous Lil Primrose Kaisercraft products from Merly Impressions. I hope you like them...
Lil Primrose Layout by Emma Williams
I'd never really thought about scrapbooking until lately and I must say that I'm really getting into it and I've decided to make and present a complete scrapbook to my Mum and Dad, and that's why "little Emma" is the star of these pages. Nowadays, and you probably remember me saying this before...it's very hard to get me in front of a camera but when I was young...there was no stopping me!!! lol.

Thank you so much for taking the time to have a look at what I've been creating lately...I love reading all your comments, so if you have time please let me know what you think of these layouts.

Hope you all have a lovely evening.
Bye for now and see you soon.

Lil Primrose

Hope you've all had a lovely start to your weekend.

It's still absolutely freezing here in West London and we've still got plenty of snow on the ground, after another snowfall on Thursday night but the weathermen have said there's warmer weather on the way, so...it looks as if the worst might be over.

But whilst the weather outside is frightful, there's still plenty going on at Chez Williams and I thought I would drop by to say hello and show you something that I made last week ~ I hope you like it!
Tulip Photo Display by Emma Williams
As you know I absolutely love Kaisercraft products and when a box of goodies arrived from the lovely Chrissy at Merly Impressions, full of some of the latest collections, I was in my element and for just two days, I put aside all my DT duties and indulged in some "me time" and I played with those products. The first of which is this gorgeous Beyond The Page, Tulip Photo Display.
I wanted to keep this piece very fresh and clean looking so, other than a small amount of Peeled Paint, on the Grungepaper leaves and branch, there were no Distress Inks in sight when I made this. I made some enamelled flowers using the Lil Primrose papers and dipped them into UTEE. The white picket fence is painted with PaperArtsy, Fresco Finish Paints and if I'm to be honest, it was actually influenced by Desperate Housewives. I just love the look of those clean white picket fences, with the wisteria growing all around the lane and I thought I would try and emulate that look with this piece.

All items that I used here are from the Lil Primrose Collection available from Merly Impressions.
They also have a fabulous blog full of inspiration and wonderful ideas and is definitely worth a visit.

Okey dokey time for me to fly...have a wonderful, relaxing Saturday night, everyone.
I'll be around to visit all your blogs, asap.
See you soon and bye for now.
