Rose Garden

Morning everyone and HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL MY FOLLOWERS IN THE US!!

Hope you're all well and having a good week. Here, at Chez Williams', there's been more drama than in an episode of Downton Abbey!! You might remember that I told you we were having a boiler fitted on Tuesday, well we were told it would run smoothly and the work would take 2 days at the most ~ hahaha!! Famous last words!!! After ripping out the boiler and everything else they needed to remove on Tuesday, we woke early yesterday, only to find the workmen didn't turn up...ALL DAY!! Argghhhhhh!!! Can you believe it??? We were left without heat, hot water and the house slowly turned into an igloo. After getting on to the company to find out what had happened, we were told there was no other engineers that they could send out and the only thing they could do would be to supply us with heaters...well, those disappeared into the black hole along with the workmen! In between all this drama, I'm still coughing for England and feel absolutely awful!!

Anyway, enough about my dramas and back to business....as promised, here is the second of the card projects that I made for Making Cards Magazine. I hope you like it...
The set of card projects featured in Making Cards Magazine
The cards featured the Lil Primrose collection from Kaisercraft which is available from Merly Impressions. I added seam binding, and used a card blank, Candi and messages all available from Craftwork Cards.

Okey dokey, time to make another cuppa and try to thaw myself out!!

Thank you all for popping by and taking a look at today's post...see you all soon with another creation!
Bye for now...love Emma xx

  1. It is NOT ON - being poorly and cold through NO fault of thine own. Do formally complain, won't you, IceWoman Williams?

On to work matter - I remember these cards. They are very pretty indeed. Even the way you use seam binding as ribbons is classy!

  4. Oh no, I do hope you've some heating and hot water now - nothing worse if you're already unwell. On the plus side, your cards are so pretty - all the freshness of spring about them!

  5. Hi Emma
Absolutely gorgeous makes as always. What a time you've been having. Fancy taking everything out and then disappearing like that. I hope you get someone soon to put the new boiler in especially with this awful weather.
Sorry to hear you're poorly too. I hope you have a better weekend. Wrap up and keep warm and stay in your craft pod!!
