L.O.V.E.

Hi everyone!

Don't these days go fast??? It doesn't seem a minute since I was sat here writing yesterday's post and here I am again...

I was overwhelmed by all the lovely comments I read on my last post...it's days and words like those, that make me realise that all the hard work that I put into making each and every creation...is worthwhile and I really can't thank you enough!!

As promised, today I'm sharing the final card that I made using the Memory Lane Project of the Month, from Craftwork Cards. As always...hope you like it!! :)
I combined the gorgeous papers and die cut flowers from the POTM, together with glitter papers from the Bohemian Glitter Pad and some flourishes die cut using the Floral Flourish die from Spellbinders.
The word "LOVE" is stamped onto one of the tags in the POTM, and uses the fabulous and so useful set of Printers Block stamps. These stamps are just the best and such good quality...if you haven't got a set yet...then you must!!

Before I go, I just wanted to let you all know that the new issue of Making Cards is now available to buy and if you do like my work...then you might want to check it out, because...woohoo, I've got three projects in this latest edition and two of them have made the cover, including my Designs With A Difference Carousel Card and matching gift pocket.
Okey dokey...time for me to escape into my own little world of craft and plan my next project!!

See you soon with some more creations and gossip from Chez Williams...bye for now!!

Let's Face The Music...

Happy Monday, everyone!! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend...but isn't it FRREEZZING out there!! I've finally had to give in to putting the central heating on and breaking out my boots and winter coat!!!

So, once I got over the cold temperatures that have finally hit us, my weekend was full of deadlines and craft but I managed to meet them all, which at times seemed like an impossible task but I did it and I'm so pleased with the creations I've made!! Can't wait to show you all...

But back to today and I thought it would be nice to share one of the cards that I made for a recent QVC show featuring Perfect Pearls. I hope you like it...
The 3D rose is made out of Grungepaper which I misted from a Mini Mister, with a mixture of Distress Ink Reinker in Victorian Velvet, to which I added some of the Perfect Pearls, topped up with water, given a good shake and then misted over the die cut flower petals.
When the rose is completely dry from the Perfect Pearls mixture, I then made it up and using the Perfect Medium pad, lightly brushed the surface before dusting on some more of the Perfect Pearls mica powder.
Finally, I adhered the grungepaper rose to the background, which I made using a combination of a music score stampand a Tim Holtz flourish stamp. I added some die cut flourishes and leaves and then matted it onto some gorgeous script paper from my crafty stash.

Thank you all for your lovely comments about my magazine projects in Making Cards. I can't tell you what a buzz I had from walking into WHSmith today and seeing it there on the shelves!! Can you tell I'm still just a little excited?!?
hehe

Hope you all have a lovely evening and stay warm!!
See you tomorrow with another post and something I can't wait for you all to see!!

He's Behind You...

Hi everyone and thank you so much, for all your lovely comments on my last post...you are all such fab friends and I am so lucky that you visit my blog and leave my such lovely kind words! I'm still powering through all my work but I'm on schedule, if all goes to plan...so keep your fingers crossed for me!!

So, today...as promised, it's back to my Clarity samples and this one, I'll admit when the stamps arrived I looked and played with them for ages and they were quite a challenge because as Lord Tim says on one of his stamps...'it's all perspective" and this card was definitely all about that.
The rolling hills, the caravan nestling in the grasses and the scarecrow silhouette standing proud in the glorious sunshine. It's amazing what you can do with some Promarkers, Kuretake's Wink Of Stella pens, and Distress Inks...

So, I hope you like my lil creation and tomorrow I'll be back with my penultimate card and I'll leave you to guess which two cards, I left last but NEVER least! hehe...

Have a fabulous evening, everyone!
See you tomorrow!
