"It is Not Only Fine Feathers That Make Fine Birds" ~ Aesop

Ok...own up...who stole my day?? lol!! Is it me or is time flying faster than ever? Well, I didn't seem to acheive that much today but I'm really pleased with all those little, and very long overdue things that I did manage to get done. So, big smiles all round here at Chez Williams!!!

Before I share my next Clarity sample with you all, I just wanted to say a big thank you for all the lovely comments on my previous post...you blew me away with all your kind words, here and on Facebook. I've made some lovely friends through my blog and you really are the best. :)

...and now, the second of my samples featuring that gorgeous Kingfisher that unfortunately sold out before many of you bought it...I hope you like it.
I built up the background scene with various Distress Inks, before stamping and colouring the kingfisher image with Promarkers. Once again, as with many of my Clarity samples, I wanted to let the stamps do the talkin...so, I decided to keep the rest of the card very clean in it's style. I just mounted the finished image onto a punched around the page background, added some matts of coloured card and adhered it to one of Craftwork Cards gorgeous shaped cards.

Time for me to open that box of Hotel Chocolat that has been staring at me since Christmas and spoil myself with an evening in front of the TV, watch an episode of Desperate Housewives that I've recorded.
Hope you all have a lovely evening and see you soon.
Love Emma xxx

  8. So many of the stamp sold out didn't they so we don't get to see your lovely cards, such a shame but I'm so glad you share them with us. Your kingfisher in his tree is beautiful, such realistic colours.
