Santa's On His Way....

Hello!!

Hope everyone is doing ok and thank you so much for all your visits and all the lovely comments on my last post... Once again, I must apologise for not getting round to visiting you all lately ~ you have my permission to shout very loud at me and tell me off!! I promise, I will be catching up with you all, ASAP!!! In the meantime, you are all so very kind to keep visiting me...I really do appreciate it ~ you are all such fabulous blogging buddies!!!

As promised, I'm just dropping by to share the second of my cards that I made for the November issue of Making Cards Magazine. Hope you like it...
As in the previous post, I used the Winter Frost collection and Distressable Paper Pad from Craftwork Cards and added ribbons and embellishments from The Ribbon Reel. The main focal point of the card is, of course from the Reindeer Flight die...courtesy of Tim Holtz and Sizzix.

If you are an avid reader of Making Cards, then you might like to know that the December issue is now on sale and if you like what I make, I have two features on the cover and another one inside!! I would love to hear what you think of them...
Okey dokey, time for me to see what I can create in the kitchen and give Nigella a run for her money!!
See you soon and thanks for dropping by to see my little creation.
Bye for now...Love Emma xxx

Winter Wonder

Hi everyone ~ hope you all had a fabulous weekend!!

It's still chaos here at Chez Williams'...it's taking me some time to knock this flu and respiratory infection on it's head and I'm absolutely drained as soon as I do the slightest thing but...hey ho, there's is no rest for the wicked and I definitely have to just keep calm and carry on, at the moment!!

In the meantime, whilst I slowly try to get back into the swing of things and definitely try to step up a gear...here's the first of a two card project that was featured in last month's Making Cards Magazine. As always, I really hope you like it...
For this card, I used the Winter Frost collection and the frame is from the Distressables Pad from Craftwork Cards. I addded ribbons and embellishments from The Ribbon Reel and of course, none of my cards would be complete without a touch of Lord Tim Holtz and as you can all see on this one, I used the gorgeous Winter Wonder die from Sizzix to make my focal point, together with the Sizzix Holly Branch Alterations die.

Okey dokey, time for me to scour all the online craft stores to find some lovely new products to use on my next magazine commission. If you're like me, I always forget exactly where I saw things and then have to start all over again...lol!!
See you all tomorrow with the second card from this set...bye for now!

Catching Up....

Just thought I'd drop by today to give you a little round up of what's been happening at Chez Williams' of late!!

I was sent these gorgeous pens to try from Letraset. They are just stunning and I've already thought of so many projects that they would be so useful for...so watch this space and if you would like to own a set of these pens...click HERE!

I treated myself to a set of these...can't wait to start playing with them!!

You all know how much I love my ribbons and embellishments and it so happened that I needed a little special something for a magazine commission that I was working on. So, the Hercule Poirot in me, decided to put the little grey cells to the test and find a shop online that would cater for my taste and I did!!! I stumbled across a fab store called The Ribbon Reel and here is my first selection of goodies from the lovely Keilly!! Thank you so much for the excellent service and for making all my ribbon dreams come true!! I know I will definitely be back with an order very soon...just need to warn the bank manager!! lol.
Finally, it was time for celebration again when I saw the cover of Making Cards...yep, four times in a row!! Yippee!!! I was very proud of this set of cards and worked with the Making Cards team very closely to bring you something a little bit special!! I really hope you like the designs!
Lots to do today, and someone special to see...so, bye for now and see you tomorrow with some more cards that I made for Merly Impressions!
