Well, I'm sitting here watching the rain pour down outside and wondering if Spring will ever come?? Hasn't the weather been diabolical and as for droughts and hose pipe bans...hmm!! I suppose the good thing with all this rain is at least the garden is being watered the natural way!!
Anyway, today I'm sharing the first of two cards that I made for a magazine commission but unfortunately, and something that has never happened before...two of us chose to use the same stamps and I was just one day too late and the other person got there before me. But at least now, I can get to share them with all my friends ~ I hope you like them.
The stamps are from Kanban and of course, no card is complete without a Tim Holtz die cut and I thought the weathered clock worked really well with this particular image. I added some Retro Flowers from Craftwork Cards, seam binding and a stamped quote from Lord Tim.
Time for me to do some work even though Mr Mojo is still very much in hiding. He did come out briefly to say hello and crack the whip, yesterday but shot back again quite quickly. Wish me luck for a visit today!!!
See you all soon!
Love Emma xxx
Aww Emma, Your cards are stunning as usual and it doesn't look like Mr Mojo has left you - but a good dose of warm bright sun would do us all the world of good i think.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you make all Tims products look so pretty and feminine.
Hope you feel better soon,
Claire

ReplyDeleteIt's been a shocker of day hasn't it. We started dry but the rain soon set in and it's been pouring all afternoon. Perfect crafting weather though.
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous. I love those Kanban stamps, they are very feminine for steam punk aren't they and a bit of Sir Tim works perfectly.
Hope Mr Mojo starts to play nicely.
Hugs Lisax
