It's another glorious day in London town and I'm getting so frustrated that my shoulder is still causing me problems and I can't get on with what I need to do... Oh well, I'm sure there's something crafty that will keep me occupied until it feels a bit better!
And on the subject of crafting, here's today's share from the Clarity shows...hope you like them!
These cards never actually got to be shown, as the stamp set sold out quickly but as always, I like to show all my loyal friends and followers what you can make with these sets and hopefully inspire you, just a little bit! This card was made using the two flourish stamps, which I think have to be my all time favourite stamps from Clarity, together with the butterfly stamp. I stamped each butterfly onto ultra smooth card and then coloured them using Promarkers. The bird cage is a die from Marianne Design Creatables and I love the look of white on white but of course sometimes, it doesn't show up! So, for this birdcage, I used Centura Pearl card to give that little bit of shimmer, to make it stand out from the background card. To complete the card, I used matts of Bazzill card, stamped the flourish onto the background and then adhered all my embellishments, adding the final touch of some handmade roses.
For this second card, I combined two of the stamp kits to make it. The butterfly is from the above kit and then the postage stamp stamps are from another kit that is available to buy from ClarityStamps themselves. But I really thought this worked well and loved the idea of having the butterflies popping out of the postage stamp images.
Hope you all have a wonderful day and as always, thank you to everyone who commented on the last post. I can't wait to hear what you think of this set!
See you tomorrow with some more cards.
Love Emma

oh boy do I know about flying away these days! ;p me? I love to fly away! :D
ReplyDeleteAnd I love these cards! the butterflies are just beautiful...they're used so well here...the embellishments in the first are so well done...right down to those handmade roses you do so well! :D and the illusion of the butterflies popping out of the stamps in the second card is brilliant!
they just keep getting better and better! hope the shoulder does as well! :(
can't wait to see more! :D <333
Totally fabulous Emma! Jo x
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame these didn't get shown - they're stunning! At least we've got to see them now.

Ohhhh I'm drooling, Emma. That first card is the lovliest creation I've seen in a long time. It's wonderful. When I first looked at it I thought the birdcage was an open window and was wondering what you'd used but after reading further I understand. Think I might have to get that die too, I love the Marianne D ones anyway but would never have thought of white on white.
ReplyDeleteThe second one is beautiful too. It's such a shame everyone didn't get to see these but thanks so much for sharing them with your blogging buddies.
Sorry to hear your shoulder is still playing you up, I hope it feels better very soon.
Hugs Lisax
WOW! So beautiful Emma! I do hope your shoulder pain starts to ease off soon. Have you got restricted movement too?
ReplyDeleteThe swirly stamp is my favourite too Emma, it's so versatile. Love how you have delicately coloured in the butterflies too, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI hope your shoulder is less painful soon, sending hugs your way :).
Much love,

Like you I think those flourishes are divine - and your card shows them at their best.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are stunning and I'm pleased you show them on your blog because otherwise it would be such a waste of your talent not to be able to showcase them.
Hope your shoulder eases up soon
Fabulous, love how you have used my favourite flourish!
