Hi everyone!!
The sun might be shining out there but it's so cold!!! I'm freezing...I went out into the garden to water my strawberry plants this morning and came in with ice blocks for hands!! lol But I'll tell you what will keep me warm, last night I ordered the Zumba Fitness Workout DVD from QVC last night. I decided that with all the aches and pains that I've been suffering from over the last few months, I needed to get fit and I thought this would be the best way to do it...in my own time, at my own pace!!! OMG, what have I let myself in for? hehe... I'll keep you informed...IF, I can move once I start!! lol
But before I start to Zumba, I wanted to thank you all for your wonderful comments that you left on my last post...I know that I always say this but they really do mean the world to me...thank you!!
And here's day 2 of my Clarity shares and today, we're heading around the world...hope you enjoy the journey!!!
This is the first set of stamps which feature world monuments. Once again, I wanted to keep these simple and show the quality of the stamps. They remind me of old etchings that you might find in that precious find of a vintage book that you discover in an antique store.
I thought the images worked well in circles and for a splash of colour, I die cut each circle in either pink or orange, two of my very favourite colours when put together, in Bazzill card.
The second set of stamps features the hot air balloons. I stamped each balloon separately, coloured them with Promarkers and then layered them up, with different sizes of 3D foam to give the dimension of them floating through the sky. The backing papers were some from my crafty stash and are by K & Company.
I hope you like today's share and thank you for stopping by to take a look at what I made!
I'll be back tomorrow with another couple of cards, so...I'll see you then!!
Love Emma

Both great but I totally love the balloon one,

Two more fabulous makes. I Love how you've gone 'around' the card to show the around the world stamps - perfect!... and the Balloon card is just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLove Lynda xxxx
Both are beautiful creations, but my favourite is the hot air balloons. :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous Emma; so original and interesting! I love the idea of going in a hot air balloon but think I'd be terrified!
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards, especially love the embossed background to the "around the world" one.
ReplyDeleteHope you managed to warm up today - my son said exactly the same thing this morning (he's based in Docklands)
Two more great cards, Emma. I especially like the balloons up in the clouds.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your Zumba. My SIL goes to a Zumba class and says it's the biggest laugh ever.
Hugs Lisax
Hey beautiful...
ReplyDeleteWell... what can I say..! You know I absolutely adore your creations, and you have not disappointed here!
I love them all! I meant to leave a comment on your beautiful royal wedding celebration card, but got distracted going over to KW and buying that stamp!
It's hard to choose a favourite, but that one and the two london ones are right up there as my faves. I was squealing in mums ear sunday watching your cards on tv! Stunning!
Chat to you soon.

oh boy...don't I know about journeys! ;p but they're often just as exciting and interesting as the destination! ;)
ReplyDeletethe first card has some of the wonderful locations I'd like to visit one day...iconic landmarks all! the layering and images are superb!
and the second card is a perfect example of the journey being more important than where you're headed! to ride in a hot air balloon would be amazing! :D love the colours and the 3D effect...it's as if they're soaring!
wonderfully done! :D
