Pretty In Pink

Well, it's Tuesday and that can only mean on thing...it's day two of my Clarity shares!!

First of all, I just wanted to say thank you for all your lovely comments on the first cards in my share...my friends and followers, really are the best and each and every comment, made my day. And Katina, I know you'll be reading this and your comment really made me laugh out loud...I'm sure you could picture my face when I saw him leaning on the cards and could see my paper roses start to get flatter...and flatter...and flatter!! Grrr, indeed!! haha...

So, now for today's cards and here's one of the cards before it was leant on... lol ...I hope you like them!

Both of these cards are using elements from the stamp set, pictured above and what I really wanted to do with them, is show how different they can look by using different colours, inks and techniques. The first card, uses just the sentiment stamp, combined with lots of different die cutting techniques. Everything you see on that card, except for the butterfly, which was punched using a Martha Stewart punch, is made  using a combination of Sizzix and Spellbinder products. To be honest, it was really difficult to let go of this card, because I was so pleased with how it turned out but the good thing about crafting...you can do it all over again!!

The second card, is all about rubber stamping and this time, everything you see on this card, is stamped!

Well, time for me to get something to eat. I've been so busy this morning cutting into beautiful papers and creating new projects, I've forgotten to eat!! But now my tummy is telling me...it's time!!!
See you all tomorrow with some more cards!

the second card is a nice contrast to the first...simpler but really stylish and symmetrical! shows off your versatility is style and design! :D

  2. I can hear you shouting at the tele, Emma. It's a kick though when you see you card on TV isn't it. I had my first one on a few weeks ago and was so excited. I think I need to get a life!!!
Both these cards are stunning. I love your pink roses, they are so pretty and the second is amazing. Even my Hubby commented on that one when he saw it on Sunday, high praise indeed.
Thanks for your lovely comments. My card isn't a patch on yours but you gave me a push in the right direction which is what I needed and for which I am so grateful. It'll be posted on Friday.
Hope you've had your lunch now!!
