Well, I know tomorrow is going to be a busy day, so I thought I would post this early and share the card that I made for my Mum's birthday, with all my lovely followers. I know she won't peek before the morning...she's been warned!!
And here it is...a special card for a special lady...
There is so much work in this lil creation, I wouldn't know where to begin to tell you what I'd actually done but the main feature of the card, is th die cuts and stamps from the God, Tim Holtz. I teamed these with some gorgeous papers from K & Company. These papers are the sort of papers that usually, I will look at, stroke and never want to cut in to but it was a special occasion, so I did the deed and took the scissors and paper trimmer to them!I added the finishing touches of my handmade blossoms with their petals lightly tipped in Victorian Velvet Distress Ink, some seam binding and a gorgeous pin, just tucked into the birdcage.
Last but not least, I stamped a message, using a Creative Expressions stamp and put this inside the card.
Well, I'm off to watch Casualty, with a nice cup of tea...don't let it be said I don't know how to live on a Saturday night! lol
Hope the remainder of your weekend is relaxing!
See you on Monday...
Love Emma
