A Winter Walk

Hi everyone!

Well, it might be pouring with rain and blowing a gale outside but inside, it's all warm and cosy...just how I like it! I'm sitting next to a roaring fire, watching daytime TV and indulging in copious amounts of warm drinks because unfortunately, that cold I was telling you all about ~ it turned into flu and at the moment, I'm battling with a horrible cough, I've nearly lost my voice and really just feel slightly under the weather. But there was some good news, I won some blog candy over at Sugar Nellie, which made my day and I can't wait for it to arrive!!
So, I might not be able to talk but I can type and I've managed to jump onto the computer for a while just long enough to share my latest little creation with you! I hope you like it...
Of course, no-one can fail to recognise that these wonderful characters are from Beatrix Potter. I was bought up on these books and this woman is someone whose work I adore and admire. Her illustrations remind me of childhood memories and are just stunning. I never tire of looking at her books. So, when Crafters Companion released this set of stamps, I couldn't resist and I really hope that I've done justice to this talented lady and her illustrations.
The card itself is made using a variety of products including the stunning new Spellbinders die, which works so well with Craftwork Cards Card Candy.

So, what did I use?
Digital Cardstock, Card Candy, Message Tag ~ Craftwork Cards
Stamp ~ Crafters Companion
Dies ~ Spellbinders
Colouring Mediums ~ Promarkers
Punch ~ Martha Stewart PATP Snowflake Punch
Papers ~ Bazzill Cardstock and DCWV
Glitter Glue ~ Stickles
Ribbon and Glossy Accents used as finishing touches!

Hope you all have a wonderful evening and keep warm!
Love Emma
