Birds of Paradise

Just dropping by to wish all my lovely followers a very happy weekend and to share with you all, the very last samples that I made for the Clarity Stamp show!

And even if I do say so myself...I personally think, that I saved the best for last! I was thrilled with the way that these two cards turned out, especially the blue version. Once again, it shows how the same image can look totally different, when you use different colouring mediums and techniques. The first is coloured with Promarkers and the second is handpainted with Perfect Pearls, to give a rich, opulent feel to the card.

All the handmade flowers on these cards, are made using Tim's Tattered Florals die. I think it's used so much these days that if you look closely, you'll see smoke coming out of it!! hehe...

I really hope you loved all the samples as much as I loved making and sharing them!!
Thank you all for taking the time to visit my blog and a big thank you, to Katina, Lynda and Carlos for all their lovely comments, on all my cards! You make it all worthwhile!!

Have a fabulous weekend and I'm now going to get ready for a busy night ahead!
See you next week with some more very special Christmas cards!
Love Emma

2.'s my absolute PLEASURE to come to your blog and see the wonderful cards you should be I who should be thanking you! :D

I love being blown away constantly by what I see here...and this post certainly no different. the stamp itself is magnificent and the first card really shows it off so well! but that second card is out of this world! the textures and colours are stunning! the bird has the appearance of stained glass and the backing paper is radical, to say the least! and it works beautifully!

    really amazing work! :D

Thank you for all your comments and messages, they are all appreciated and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon...
