Hello everyone!
Today, is a flying visit from me...I've got plenty to do to keep me out of mischief and think I will need to hang a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, so that I don't get distracted. But before I start I just wanted to pop by to share some Craftwork Cards samples that I made for some recent Create and Craft shows last month.
The shows featured two gorgeous, must have paper pads, I Love London and Postcards From Paris and these fast became some of my all time favourite papers from Craftwork Cards. I just adored everything about them and they definitely captured the feel of two of my favourite cities.
So today, I'm sharing two cards that I created using the Paris paper pads, which I combined with Tim Holtz dies by Sizzix. As always, I hope you love what I've made and I can't wait to read all your comments.
For the first card, I used the Tattered Florals die to die cut some of the papers to make a dimensional bloom. I added leaves, again die cut and then inked with Distress Inks.
The Eiffel Tower is die cut from chipboard, covered in Metal Foil tape and then embossed using the Eiffel Tower and French Script Texture Fade.I also used one of Tim's gorgeous new Shadowpress dies from the Authentic set, and combined it with some of the Paris papers to create the word Beautiful.
I added all my die cut elements onto the card, together with a crackled Postage Stamp die cut frame, again by Tim Holtz for Sizzix.
...and here's the finished card, with paper rolls, ribbon and some Candi added as finishing touches.
For the second card, I wanted to keep in fairly monochrome to showcase the gorgeous papers.......and for this, I chose to add a glittery mustache, die cut from the Mustache and Pointed Finger Movers and Shapers set.
I added some ribbon, tied into a shabby bow and a stamped message and to complete the card, I used Candi to denote the colours of the French flag.
I really hope you've loved today's shares and as always, I can't thank you enough for all your visits and continued support. Hope you all have a wonderful day and enjoy the sunshine!!
See you soon...love Emma xxx
