Music Notes...

Hello friends...

Well, this week has flown by!!! I only blinked and whoosh...it's already Friday!! Well, at least that means one good thing...it's the weekend tomorrow and I hope you all have a fabulous one!!

Before I share today's post I just wanted to say a big HELLO to all my new followers that have joined me this week!! Remember, now that Google Reader is no longer with us, there are plenty of ways to follow my blog and you can find all the links in my sidebar on the left!! :) I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who commented on my previous post, you all make me smile with all your lovely comments and I do appreciate every single one of them but it was a comment on Twitter that really did make me smile the widest...and that came from....*drum roll*.....Tim Holtz!! I couldn't believe it and I will admit I did have a little happy dance.

So, after that bit of excitement...today I'm sharing the last of my DT samples for Clarity Stamp and as always, I hope you like them!!
I will admit out of all the cards that I made for the July shows on Create and Craft...this card with the ships was the one I was most proud of!! It all came together so well and I was so pleased with the overall effect that I managed to create using the Distress Inks for the background. I just loved it and it was very hard to let this one go...

The second card uses the Music Notes stamp and the Holly Boughs and for this one, I decided to cluster the holly around the music and create a vintage feel, which I thought worked really well.

So, I really hope you've been inspired by all the cards I made for this month's Clarity shows and as always thank you for stopping by and leaving all your comments, either here, on twitter or on Facebook!!

Tomorrow, I'm back with something a little bit special...so, be sure to drop by if you have a chance.
See you then and bye for now!
Love Emma xxx

  1. Stunning cards as always Emma. I love them both but I think the three ships one would be really good in a frame, true works of art. xx

  2. Your interpretation of these clever stamps is excellent, as ever, Emma. Both cards are traditional in form and colours - the Deck the halls being my favourite. However, I feel the ships would make good men's cards and travel ones throughout the rest of the year!
