Home Sweet Home

Edit: Some of you might have seen this post pop up last night...sorry if I made you all think you were going mad but this one's for real and it's here to stay!! lol
Enjoy the post... :)

And here we are, the end of another week and that means one thing...it's the final day of my Clarity shares and as I mentioned yesterday, I think I saved the best until last. Home Sweet Home...

To be honest, this card is all about the "little" details but all those little details made the biggest card I think I've ever made. A4 in size and as you can see, I stamped, stamped and stamped my little socks off!
Each frame is stamped and coloured twice. Then I cut out the second frame and before mounting this on top of the first using 3D foam, I stamped each of the small images inside the first frame, colouring them with Promarkers. The "Home Sweet Home" is stamped onto a die cut circle and then mounted onto a rosette for dimension.

And now for the details within these little frames...I used Flower Soft for the teeny tiny flower heads in the wheelbarrow and window boxes of the house and if you look closely, you can see water being poured from the watering can. It's amazing what you can do with Glossy Accents!!!
Finally, I added a handmade rose made with pearlescent papers as the finishing touch!
So, in the words of the wonderful Looney Tunes...that's all folks!! Well, until my next Clarity share, next month ~ lol. I really hope you've enjoyed all of this weeks cards, as much as I've enjoyed sharing them and reading all your comments, it makes all that hard work so worthwhile.
I'll be back on Monday, with all the samples I've made for Kuretake's shows which are on later today on Create and Craft. Hope you'll be able to tune in and watch! There's some fab products that are sure to find their way into your baskets!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
See you Monday...

  10. I did catch this card on the show, Emma but to be honest you don't see all the detail do you. I had no idea there was flower soft on it.
Those frames are beautiful cut out but they must have taken you ages.
I love the sentiment and flower in the middle, that's another card all in itself.
A stunning work of art as always.
