Good morning, lovely blogging buddies! How is everyone today?
Even though the weather wasn't great, I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I had a good one, made my Dad his Father's Day card but I honestly think that the last two days might have been the calm before the storm. For the next three weeks, I will be crafting my little socks off. Starting today, I have my latest set of DT work from Clarity and then, I have a exciting project that will be arriving tomorrow. Can't wait to get started and as soon as I can, I will share it all with you!!
But in the meantime, and as some of you know, Kuretake were back at Create and Craft on Friday and didn't the lovely Steph do well? She had some fabulous demonstrations and wowed us all what you can do with these wonderful pens. Not many of the DT cards were shown due to another fast and furious show but you might have been able to spot some on the set.
But never fear, as over the next few days, I want to share all the cards that I worked on, starting with this one, which you might have seen!!
Wasn't it a great close up of this card? I was so proud to see my little creation in such detail!!Of course, this is using Crafters Companion's set of Beatrix Potter stamps, which I absolutely love. I've always been a fan of her work and I wanted to keep as close to her sketchy style of painting as I could. I hope you like it!!
I used the Art and Graphic Twin pens to hand paint the stamped image and they were perfect. They have such great pigment to them and give such a depth of colour.
As a finishing touch, I made this handmade flower, using a punch from Stampin' Up!, courtesy of my lovely friend Helen. Helen recently sent me the most gorgeous birthday card and I'd just like to take the opportunity to say ~ thank you, Helen!
So, this is the first of the cards that I was frantically making last week, for the live shows and below are some of the previous cards, that were on the show and that I've made using Kuretake products. Some of you might remember me featuring these on my blog, earlier this year.
I'll be back tomorrow with the next share but that's it from me for today...I'm off to start work and if you need me, I'll be the one buried under the pile of stamps, ink and papers! lol
I'll be round to look at all your lovely blogs, asap but hope you have a lovely day!
See you soon!
Love Emma

They're absolutely gorgeous Emma and I did spot one or two on the show. Well done you.xx
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit and good wishes earlier, Emma. I still have not had time to actually watch the shows but they are on the DVD recorder waiting for me. Those cards on your blog are lovely, as usual. Can't wait to get going with the Clarity DVD's and follow some of the projects.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards, love that flower on the Peter Rabbit card! Just had a quick browse at the Clarity cards as I missed the show and I love how you have used the corner stamp as a kite - very inspirational.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice comments about my card.

Gorgeous pieces Emma, so beautifully put together and yet again another stunning flower on the first card. Beautiful selection. Tracy x
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous cards, all of them, Emma. Who can resist Beatrix Potter and your colouring is so true to life.
ReplyDeleteIt must be so exciting to receive a new set of stamps to play with, like Christmas every month!!
Thank you so much for your lovely comments and good wishes. It means so much.
