Fit for a King...or Queen?

Here we are again...the beginning of a new week and my mind is already buzzing with lots of new ideas. Why? Well, over the weekend, I just couldn't resist the temptation of the new Graphic 45 papers and stamps and Tim Holtz's Kraft Resist paper stash, they just fell into my shopping basket. It had to be done...there was a free P&P offer at Craft Obsessions and who was I to argue!!!

But getting back to Monday and trying to control my excitement until the postman delivers my goodies, I thought I'd share this with all today.

The idea behind these little boxes was actually conceived when I went to lunch, a couple of weeks ago with the lovely Buffy from Kuretake and my DT friends, Sarah and Kim. At that lunch, we were each given some fabulous templates and Sarah, jokingly mentioned the idea of Royal Wedding favour boxes. Well, the gauntlet was thrown down and eventually, in her own words, "she is never one to shy away from a challenge", Sarah made them and you can see them over on her blog.

But that meant, that I couldn't let the side down either. So, here is my version of the Royal Wedding Favour Boxes, using the different box templates that we were given. And if William or Kate, want to give me a call...please leave a comment and I'll get back to you.... LOL

So, I really hope that you like them and please, check out these templates from Kuretake, because you will not be sorry, they are fabulous!!!

Before I leave you all, I just wanted to thank Kirsty, for a comment that she left, last week on a post from February...I actually didn't see your comment until now ~ sorry but I really hope that you see this because I want to say thank you, to you (and your husband, lol) for your very kind words and unfortunately, I didn't go to the NEC but I will be attending Alexandra Palace, next month!! Hope to see more of your comments on my cards, Kirsty...I'll look forward to them!! :)

Hope you all have a fabulous week.
See you soon and thanks for all your lovely comments on my Mum's birthday card...I passed on all your birthday wishes and she says a big thank you!

  3. Feel I should stand up while Rule Britannia is being played in the background! LoL
Plenty of people will be having street parties and celebrating like the Royal's in their own way. A box like this would definitely set the mood.
Well done you (and Sarah) for being so patriotic :)
