Hello everyone!!
Hope you're all having a wonderful week. It's another busy one here at Chez Williams' and at the moment, I actually think I could do with being an octopus!! Why you might ask? Well, those extra pairs of hands would come in very useful when you're juggling a 1001 jobs and time flies faster than you can blink. Lol... But I have a big mug of tea in my "Keep Calm and Carry On" mug and I swear I won't panic...YET!!!!
Today I wanted to share a tag that I made a couple of weeks ago and this tag actually came about from leftovers on my desk. I was clearing away after a marathon crafty session and there were all these bits and pieces that I'd made for projects but then discarded because in the end, I'd changed my mind and gone off in a completely different direction and yes, this happens frequently!! Not many of my projects actually end up they way they start in my head! So, after I'd gathered all the pieces together, sat down at my desk...this is what happened and as always, I hope you love it!!
The background of the tag is inked with Distress Inks, then spritzed with Biscotti Perfect Pearls and embossed with a Tim Holtz Texture Fade.I added the Eiffel Tower die cut, which was cut from Metal Foil tape, applied to Grungepaper, embossed in the corresponding Texture Fade and then had a wash of Black Soot and Antique Bronze Distress Paint over the top.
I added my handmade paper flowers and die cut foliage, together with a Hashtag message... (I love those little Hashtag stamps and thank you Mario and Tim for bringing them to us). Even the Film Strip ribbon was a piece that I cut and never used!!
Finally, I dyed some seam binding with Distress Stain to match my tag.
Well, that's it from me for today and now, I must start to crack that whip and start ticking off jobs on that ever growing "to-do" list!!
See you soon and have a lovely day everyone...love Emma xxx
