Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...

Good morning friends and happy Holiday Monday for those in the UK...

Hope you've all had a restful weekend and having a relaxing time!! It's a busy ol' week here at Chez Williams' and plenty to keep me out of trouble, so...I'm paying a flying visit to say hi to you all and share some samples that I made for the lovely Maria Simms' for her Clarity Take 2 show that was on Create and Craft last Wednesday. As always, I hope you like what I've made...
The first card shows the beautiful Christmas tree stamp and I created a living room scene. The starry background paper, is kraft card that I randomly stamped using the star from the stamp set and then embossed with white embossing powder.

I created the background and also coloured the tree with Distress Marker Pens.
As a final touch, no tree is complete without lights and I added small gems all over it to create the effect of fairy lights, shining bright!!
The second card is using the snowmen and music score stamp set and for this one, again I used Distress Ink to create the snowy background and around my larger snowman, (or snowwoman...lol) and then stamped and decoupaged the smaller ones to make a family.
I added a few punched snowflakes and some highlights of glitter as a finishing touch!

I also had some of my older cards shown on the show and they have been on the blog before but I thought I'd just share them for those newer friends and followers.

So, that's it from me for today and I can't thank you all enough for regularly coming to my blog and leaving all the comments that you do because I am such a bad blogger in return!! You can all blame my workload, a body that doesn't want to play nicely at the moment and also, the GP's for not getting me better sooner that I hoped, LOL!!

See you all again soon and have a wonderful holiday Monday!!
Bye for now...love Emma xxx

  1. Sorry to hear you are still struggling there Emma, not that your beautiful cards belie that fact. Love all of them and I bet Barbara is thrilled to get your samples in. Take care of yourself, hugs, Jenny x

  2. Uh-may-zing again! Not only the work you've to artistically achieved but the titles of your posts too. They come up in my reader thingy and, without knowing the name of the blog, I often guess the post is one of yours, Emma.
My GP has promised me total support, more than I've cared to take - such as, 'if you rang us every day, we'd understand - you've been through hell'. So, there we are, you have to come and live here!
