Who Lives In A House Like This??

Hi everyone!! Well, the weekend seemed to fly again and here we are, the beginning of another week!! At the moment, my brain is on a permanent "go-slow" and it does not want to play nicely, at all but it's a new week and it's definitely going to be a busy one, so...it's time to put myself into first gear and get myself going!! There's too much to do and too little time for my brain to play tricks...lol!!!

...and whilst I try to step up this gear, the Barbara Gray fans out there will know, that yesterday were the first Clarity shows of this year on Create and Craft and I had some fabulous new kits and one older one to work with!! Her's the first of my card samples and as always, I hope you like it!!!
I wanted to capture a 1950's fairytale Disney feel to this card...bright and quirky and the sort of house that I could see in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs living in!!! I built up my the background to my scene using Distress Inks, which I blended to give light and dark to the fields and meadows and then, I stamped the the two little houses to give the scene some dimension and added the path and the gate. The houses and gates are coloured using Distress Marker Pens...

So, I hope this inspires you to create some fairytale scenes of your own and these stamps are perfect for doing just that!! I'll be back tomorrow with another card sample from Clarity but until then, have a lovely evening and thank you so much for taking the time to come and visit!! I can't wait to read all your comments!!

See you all tomorrow!!
Love Emma xxx

  3. I have fallen in love with clarity stamps. As for distressed inks, its me that usually ends up very distressed, its a technique I am strugling with BUT am going to give it another go soon
