Spread My Wings...

Another flying visit from me but as the week is already running away with me, I thought it would be rude not to pop on to show you the very first of my Clarity samples from last weekend's Create & Craft shows...and here it is, I hope you like it!!
For this particular card I got my Spring Distress Inks out and made an inky background before stamping and building up all the images that were in the fabulous Birdcage stamp kit, that Barbara launched for Lesson 10 of "In The Classroom".
I continued to stamp the flourishes onto the white card blank, carrying on the design from the main inked image that I'd created. I matted and layered the completed artwork and then added it to my Craftwork Cards card blank.
Okey dokey, time to do a bit more work before I can finally relax, and I'll also come and visit all your blogs to see what you've been up to!

See you tomorrow with another share and as always, please feel free to leave a comment...I always love to read them and it's nice to know you've visited!!
Bye for now...Love Emma xxx

  5. Hiya, love these colours and the birdcage matches your own real life one. No need to worry about visiting, there are other more important things going on. But it is always lovely to read your comments!

I have managed somehow to damage my knee. Had X-rays on Monday and have been fast tracked to the physio tomorrow morning. Two men had to man handle me from my desk at work to my car, really embarassing!

  6. Now I know why you have a birdcage - every so often you allow yourself to fly out and write to us!

What a beautiful card, Emma. The colours, for me, are budgerigars! Well selected, even better execution of method and design - how does she do it!

As for visiting our blogs - please forget mine as it hasn't been updated as often as yours.

  10. Stunning - love the colours and design, you always use white space so well to frame your designs too. Am learning to do that, use white space instead of covering it all up! Take care lovely. Zo xx
