Splash!!!

Happy Friday everyone!

Hope you've all had a fabulous week and I'm back with my penultimate Clarity share and really hope you've enjoyed all the cards you've seen so far. As always, the comments that I read make all the hard work worthwhile...you've all been so kind and said such lovely things...I can't thank you enough.

This card was actually based on this photograph of the model Jerry Hall, taken by the world famous Norman Parkinson. As some of you know, I love fashion photography and this is actually one of my very favourite photographs, so...as soon as I saw this particular stamp set ~ I knew exactly what I wanted to create and I hope you like it!!
Once again, I've used Distress Inks to create the sea and skyscape, then coloured the main image with Promarkers.
The background is created using a Martha Stewart All Over The Page Punch and layered onto some co-ordinating cardstock.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look at my little creation and a big hello to my new followers...I'm really looking forward to getting to know you and hope you'll come and say hi!!

Okey dokey, it's time for me to finish off my latest creation, before heading to the kitchen to see if I can become a culinary genius and cook up a feast!!

Then, this evening after a whirlwind but wonderful week, I'm going to collapse on the sofa, with this man....
...and read all about him in the latest issue of Elle, probably with a few ooh's and aah's thrown in for good measure, when I see the pictures!!

I'll see you all tomorrow with the last of my Clarity shares...
Hope you all have a fabulous evening...bye for now!!
Love Emma xxx

  1. Photos 1-4 are very good indeed, again! The clean lines of the stamped images are magnifique.

Photo 5 is utterly merveilleux ... what I really mean is the subject, in the flesh, but alas, not to be.

  6. I'm one of your new followers and I hunted you out after seeing your work with Clarity Stamps on C&C. I just had to have a closer look at your cards - it's so teasing to get such a tiny glimpse on the TV, although Barbara does try to give you all a bit more screen time than some others do! I really love what you've done on this diving card. How clever of you to match up that punch on the background with the splash in the water. You see, I'd never have though of that in a hundred years. I'm hoping that some of that genius quality will rub off on me as I look at your artwork, so thank you for taking the time to share your work with us via your blog; it is very much appreciated.
I'm looking forward to seeing more inspiration very soon.
    Very best wishes,
    Judy x
