Follow Your Dreams

Hello friends, and a big hello to all my new followers...thank you so much for choosing to follow my blog and I hope that you'll enjoy all my posts and creativity. I love reading all your comments and hope to get to know you all through our work...

It's just a quick post from me tonight and another couple of cards from the Clarity shows from the weekend...I hope you like them.
As soon as I opened my little box of stamps from Barbara, I decided that there was only one way for me to go with this Totem Stamp Kit and that was to make an authentic Native American Totem Pole. I built up the stamps to create the pole and coloured them with Promarkers using colours that are associated with the Native Americans.

I made the next card by using a map of North America, that I found on the internet as my background and stamped the message, directly onto it. I stamped the images of the boots and hat and once again, coloured them with Promarkers and arranged them on the covered card blank.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your evening and have a lovely night.
See you tomorrow with some more Clarity samples...bye for now!
Love Emma xxx

  4. Such a different style of card, but still excellent stuff. I love that totem pole. Can I be very cheeky and ask you for some help. I need help with this technique that Barbara showed with the black card and the mica powder. I tried blotting and plotting the versamark on the stamps, brushed on the mica powder, left it for a while, went back and tried to remove the excess, and ended up removing the whole lot. So I thought maybe I should leave it overnight. 24 hours later, the same problem. What am I doing wrong, please. I went back and watched the programme again, but I must be missing something. Is it special mica powder or is there a step in the process I am missing. Any help gratefully received - I hate being beaten. I have actually posted this plea on Facebook as well. Have a good week. xx Maggie
