Hi everyone ~ and HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all my followers in the USA!!
Hope you're all doing ok and having a lovely Thursday!! Once again, hasn't this week flown? Crikey...it's now only one week to go before I get to open the first window on my advent calendar. Now, I know you might think I'm a little old for one but in my opinion, you're never too old for the things you enjoy and come the 1st December, I've always loved the countdown to Christmas. This year might be a little bit more frantic than others but I'm still going to have fun every single day that I open a window on that calendar.
Thank you for all your lovely comments on my last post and today, I'm following on from that with a matching box using some more of those stunning papers from Kaisercraft, and here it is ~ I hope you like it!!
As in the previous post, the papers are all available from Merly Impressions. Also, if you do love Kaisercraft products as much as I do but you're still looking for some more inspiration, then my lovely friend Chrissy has lots of stunning projects over on the Merly Impressions Blog. Make sure you check it out...To complete the box, I painted the whole of the outside with Antique Gold acrylic paint and then covered the outside and inside, with some of the Tis The Season papers. I then cut out one of the images of Santa and added a Tim Holtz Fragment piece over it. I attached that to the front of the box, added some Tis The Season Rub Ons on the sides, some seam binding and another of those little rosette stacks with the beer bottle top embellishment.
Finally I added some adhesive pearls on the sides and that's about it!!!
I hope these pictures do all the products justice because it was so hard to photograph all the elements but I think you can just about see everything.
Time for me to bid you farewell for now and I'll be round to visit all your blogs when I collapse in front of the TV tonight!!
Bye for now!
Emma xxx
*Edit*
I have noticed that the links to Merly Impressions aren't working at the moment but they are correct, so keep trying and I'm sure everything will be back to normal soon!
