King of the Castle

Happy Saturday, everyone!!

Hope you've all had a wonderful day, I'm finally home from Ally Pally with bags full of goodies that I can't wait to play with. Pictures coming soon.... :)

I had a fab day out and it was so lovely to catch up with so many of my friends and I just wanted to say a big hello to any of the ClarityStamp customers, who gave me such an overwhelming reception when I was introduced to you by Barbara...thank you so much, you made this girl very happy!! I hope you found your way to my blog and that you will enjoy all my posts!! :)

So, as promised, here's my Clarity cards for today...I hope you like them!

Both of these cards feature the gorgeous Eilean Donan Castle stamp but I've used it in different ways on each of them. The card above has all the stamps from the kit and includes the castle, the bridge that links to the castle and the trees. The second card features just the castle, standing alone surrounded by nothing but space, which I thought worked so well. The backgrounds are all made using Distress Inks.

Right, time for me to love you all and leave you...yes, it's Saturday night and that means one thing ~ Gary Barlow will soon be gracing our TV screens and I cannot miss it!! *squeals*

See you all tomorrow with the final two cards from Clarity!
Have a great evening.
Love Emma

  2. P.S. I have a problem storing all my wooden stamps, good idea about the CD cases for storage though. Think I need more of a clear out LOL. Tracy x

  3. Stunning cards Emma - especially the second one as it is so atmospheric.
Glad to hear you've had a good day at Ally Pally and got to spend time with Barbara lapping up the praise you so rightly deserve and look forward to seeing what you've bought. Hoping to see Barbara when she goes to the NEC in November.
Thanks for your kind comments on my blog, my cards for LIM were a bit hurried but as it was a comment I'd made when they reached a 1000 followers that started that particular challenge I thought maybe I'd better join in this time.
Hope you enjoyed X-Factor and the lovely Gary

  5. haha...a clever title! ;)

once again your landscape cards really stand out...love the big bold sun in the first card and lovely greens and blues! but for me the second card really speaks to me! a bit more muted in colour but there's something singular and beautiful about a lonely castle in a snowy scene! simple yet so powerful!

    gorgeous work! :D
