Batdance!

I cannot believe how fast this week has flown by!!!! To think that it's already Thursday!!! Oh my!!! The days are whizzing by and I've still got so much work to do before my deadline of Monday! *panics* I am such a sloooooooooow crafter!!! So, anyone who wants to come over to help me work through the "to-do list"...there are cookies, cake, lots of choccies and plenty of wine or coffee as an incentive! hehe...

Now for today's post and just before I share it, I just wanted to say a big hello to all my new followers!! Please, come and say hello, I promise I don't bite and I look forward to hearing from you and looking at all your wonderful creations on your blogs!

Okey dokey...here we go...there's no Clarity share today, (they will be back tomorrow) because it's time for Challenge 49 over on Sarah Hurley's Challenge Blog and today, Natalie chose the theme of...RECYCLING!!

...and this is what I've made, I hope you like it!
This whole piece was made from old bits and pieces that I found around the house, the tube was the cardboard part from a used kitchen roll which I adhered to a cardboard base, die cut with Lord Tim's Alterations Die and then I painted the whole thing black. I used papers from Sarah's Wonderland cd to make all the rosettes which I then adhered to those little stirrer sticks that you find in cafes. Once again, I painted them with Martha Stewart's black sparkle paint. I die cut some bats and the letters from scraps of black glossy card and the wings from mirri card. I finally made up the roses with the leftover bits of paper from the rosettes. I attached the bats to the base of the piece using some strips of acetate that I folded to make the bats spring and flutter about.

Right, I can hear the oven telling me that my dinner is done, so I will love you all and leave you for now but I'll be back later to visit and comment on all your lovely creations.
See you tomorrow with some more Clarity samples.
Thanks again for all your love, support and comments!
Love Emma

love the flowers you used to make up the "BOO"...as well as the "31"! you don't normally think polka dots with Halloween but they really do the trick here!
