Well, it's been another eventful weekend, at Chez Williams'. Let me put it this way, between Carbon Monoxide alarms going off in the middle of the night, causing panic in the house as to what could've triggered it and then wondering if we would make it through the night without being killed by fumes. My Mum being bitten on her eyelid by an insect and an emergency trip to the GP's this morning, myself having an eye infection and my crafting mojo leaving the building...it was "one of those weekends"!! *phew ~ lol* Yes, you have to laugh or you would cry! hehe...
Anyway, enough about my tales of woe, today is the start of me finally being able to unveil all those crafting goodies that I was working on last month for Craftwork Cards' Cross Promotional Partnership with Spellbinders. To be honest, I've made so many...I might still be showing them, this time next month! Let me know if I start to bore you all... :)
And here is today's share, I hope you like it...
I decided it would be nice to make a freestanding picture frame, (there is a stand attached to the back which I forgot to photograph ~ doh!!) and as soon as I saw the colour of these gorgeous papers from the Sugared Almonds collection, I just thought...Tiffany's!! And that led me to think, my favourite actress is Audrey Hepburn and one of my favourite films, Breakfast At Tiffany's and voila...this is what came from that thought process. On this project, I used the Rose Creations Die, Scalloped Circle, Foliage and Floral Flourishes, together with silver Candi, the Sugared Almond papers and some vintage ribbon.
And this card, which uses those gorgeous Sweet Meadow papers, Alphabits and Candi from The Classics, Project of the Month, has also winged it's way to CHA.
The inside of the card, where I die cut a heart and then doodled the words with a Kuretake Fineliner Drawing Pen.
Well, I hope you liked the first of the shares and remember, you can also check out more of the DT fabulous samples over on the Craftwork Cards blog. Today, there is the most stunning card from my blogging friend Lynda, that you really don't want to miss!
Hope you have a great week, everyone and thank you for visiting my blog to see all my creations! Hope you'll be back to see all my other samples.
See you soon.
Love Emma

Sensational cards Emma!
ReplyDeleteHope you and Mum are better soon. I wonder what set that alarm off? Ours went off last year, scary, BGas couldn't find a problem, but gave us a new alarm.

Stunning cards, Emma. Love the way you create your designs and the feeling of dimension and texture that they show. Fab work. Zo x
ReplyDeleteMy absolute favourite of the lot of my absolute favourite actress of her generation...an icon on and off screen! You certainly captured her perfectly in this Tiffany inspired card! The Tiffany blue is so lovely anyway but coupled with the most famous of all Tiffany dreamers...it becomes even more lovely! Love the flowers, as well as the little bits of Tiffany silver around the image! :D
ReplyDeleteThe other card done for CHS is also a delight! Gorgeous flowers and that ever so lovely font you used for HOME...it's sure to be a hit at the show! :D
Amazing work as always! Can't wait to see more! :D
