Flying High

Happy Thursday and just a quickie post from me today! I'm running around doing a 1000 things at once and at the end of the day, probably achieving an absolute, big fat ZERO!!! lol

But Take That is playing on the stereo at the moment, Michael Buble is cued and the sun is shining so, all is good in the world of Emma!!

In the meantime, I thought you might like to see what I made, yesterday...I think some of you might have seen the work in progress on my WOYWW post but here is the finished piece. Hope you like it...
I made the frame card myself, with lots of measuring, scoring and folding but it's all worth it for the finished piece. lol Then using lots of Tim's products...Distress Stains, embossing folders, Tissue Tape, dies and stamps, I created this card. The flowers are made using an EK Success Retro Flower punch, coloured with Distress Ink and then spritzed with Perfect Pearls and they just turned out the perfect shade of Tiffany turquoise. I couldn't have asked for a better colour as the finishing touch to my project.

    Hello Emma! Your piece is lovely. The frame is really neat...really neat that you completely MADE it and didn't just cover a frame. And...the flowers are incredible.     I'll be the time in folding and scoring alone took up half a day! HAHA! ;p but you'd never know it was hand made...you'd think it was from a kit! :-o a brilliant design to display a whole host of things!

    and you can immediately see the wonderful Tim Holtz elements on display here...along with the backing paper, colours, and bits of flourish it just all adds up to something truly spectacular!

    I love it, Emma. I definitely think we have the same taste, in music too. TT are my constant music companions with a few others thrown in for good measure!!
    I love the colours of your piece, those turquoise flowers are just amazing and to have made the frame yourself too, there is no end to your talent.
