Special Delivery

Well, it's been quite an eventful morning and I've had some rather exciting news, which I can't wait to share with you all sometime soon!!! Watch this space...

Other than that...tomorrow, is time for The Big Stamp and Scrapbooking Show at Ally Pally and if you do see me there, come and say hello. I'll be the one waving my well used credit card...that will probably go into meltdown. lol

But back to today and my final share from the cards I made for the Clarity show. And in my opinion, I think I saved the best until last!!

The stamp set was a set of postage stamps and as soon as I saw them, I just knew this one would have to be a special delivery and this is what I made...I hope you like it!

I ran some cream card through the computer to type out the address, which was something that just came into my head and I thought it worked! hehe... Then came the fun but slightly messy part, the actual postage stamp image was stamped onto the cream card, which I then aged using Distress Inks. I also tore the edges to give that vintage feel to it. I used another Clarity stamp from a previous set that was shown on Create and Craft to create the image within the postage stamp. I added a few "splats" of ink and then matted and layered it onto the Kraft card blank. I added a rosette as the stopper for the easel card and a few buttons and twine as finishing touches...

So, I really hope you enjoyed all the cards that I made for the show. I love to see and read all your comments and kind words and to all my new followers...*waves*...hello!! I can't wait to hear from you in the future...don't be shy, come and say hello!!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend and once again, thank you to each and every one of you, who has left a comment for me~YOU'RE THE BEST!
Love Emma

  7. Your final one is simply gorgeous. I laughed at the address. The colours give it a really vintage feel, just gorgeous.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments and support. I'm so glad I got it right, felt a bit silly when I was typing the post!! I've had a look at your card and it's just beautiful, there is so much more than you could see on the tv and mine is a poor imitation but thanks for getting me started!!
Have a great time at Ally Pally. You are allowed to give your flexible friend (showing my age now) a good work out, it's what these weekends are all about.

  12. Wow Emma this is certainly stunning - I love the thought and detail you put into everything you make. Sorry I didn't see it sooner I've had a 'poorly' weekend - I've caught a virus that Mark's had for the last 3 weeks and it's knocked me off my feet. Hope you had a good spend at Ally Pally and I can't wait to hear your news.

    Love Lynda xxx
