Hi everyone...hope you all had a good weekend!!
I'm slowly managing to get over this flu that I've had but still feel very lacklustre and tired. Saying that, the life of a crafter is never a quiet one and to be honest, I've got too much to do to give into illness. So, I'm going to use all my willpower and start crafting....
Last week, together with the flu...the week, also bought a lot of exciting news and I can't wait to share it with you all though for now, my lips are sealed!
But today, I'm going to share the first of my samples that I made for the wonderful Barbara Gray, who demonstrated and showed her new collection of stamps on Create and Craft yesterday. And wow, it was one busy show...with nearly all the stamps selling out but you can still buy some of them from ClarityStamp, themselves. Just click, here.
This card uses one of the sets that sold out first and very, very quickly, so unfortunately...it didn't get shown on air.
The inspiration for this card, actually came from a Clarice Cliff pattern, that I saw in a book. I repeatedly stamped the image, onto a die cut circle, then hand coloured, each rose, using a combination of Promarkers and Perfect Pearls. I chose the easel style of card, because I thought it would show the image of perfectly and matted and layered the circle onto the card blank. Finally, I die cut some flourishes from black card stock which I adhered to the base of the card and then, added the stamped sentiment.
I hope you like the first of the cards I want to share with you all and I'll be back tomorrow, with a couple of cards, featuring the swan stamp. Which if you didn't see it...was gorgeous!!
Thanks for stopping by to look at my lil creation!!
Love Emma

I watched the show and it was a real shame this card was left off...cuz it's brilliant!
ReplyDeleteAnd I can really see the influence of Clarice Cliff in the design...bright vibrant colour and beautiful flowers! and I'm sure, destined to be just as collectible in years to come! ;)
very creative and super well done!

ReplyDeleteA beautiful creation. Such a shame it didn't get shown, but that's TV for you. Once they've sold out shutters up, so to speak, lol.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a striking card the roses are fabulous. I didn't manage to catch the show but I'm looking out for a repeat as I love to watch Barbara creating.
