Fly Away ~ 12 Tags of 2013

Morning everyone...

It's time to share my latest post and it's also been that time of the month when we all pop over to Tim's blog to see what wonderful tag he's created to inspire us all. Well, this month was no exception and it was stunning. So, without further ado, here is my June tag, which is added to Tim's 12 Tags of 2013.
As you can see, I used the same image as Tim but with a few variations on the theme. I changed my background because I didn't have the stamp that was used in the original tag and I added some seam binding, dyed with Distress Stains.

Once the tag was completed, I matted it onto black card and added a few bits and pieces of Idea-ology.

I also took lots of pics so you could see all the details!!!

So, that's it from me for today. I am off to find Mr Mojo and see if he can help me out of a predicament that I've got myself into!!
I'll see you all soon with another share but until then, thank you so much for stopping by and I can't wait to read all your comments.
See you all soon...bye for now,
Love Emma xxx

  1. Hope you sort your predicament out! Fab tag, lush embellishments and design. Love it! Just ordered my 1st ever set of TH blueprint stamps, been so inspired lately I needed to get some!! Take care Zo xx

  2. I'm sure the idea behind a series of tags is to give inspiration and techniques that can be customised to taste and tools/materials at hand, keeping the mood and essentials of the piece to the fore. That right, Tim?

Hope Mr Mojo has just gone on an awayday not his summer vacation, Emma. If he has gone AWOL that is a punishable offence - he has to buy you chocolate.

  3. stunning love it great colours and detail hugs txx

  4. Gorgeous tag!!!

  5. Really stunning take on the tag, Emma - beautiful colours!

  8. what all colors were used for this tag? i love these colors together and im the worst of picking out colors -- I wish on pinterest and on blogs ppl would tell the size of the tag and wat colors and products were used - i find it hard sometimes to figure out sizes from pictures with any projects not just tags --any help is appreciated Emma -TIA

    1. Thank you for popping over to my blog and in answer to your question, the colours I've used on this tag are:
Background: Salty Ocean Distress Paint and Wild Honey Distress Stain with Walnut Distress Ink around the edges
Dragonfly: Distress Markers ~ Broken China, Faded Jeans, Rusty Hinge, Wild Honey, Pumice Stone, Shabby Shutters and Fired Brick. The size of the tag is a size 8 Manila tag which is approx, 16 x 8cm!

Hope that helps and if you need any other information, just let me know and I'll do my best to sort it out! :)

Thank you for all your comments and messages, they are all appreciated and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon...
