Some Like It Hot...

Hello again!! Thank you to everyone for their visits yesterday...I loved reading all your comments and thank you for all the get well messages, I'm still in pain and today, has been another "go slow day" for me!! Not good when you have deadlines looming and still nothing to show!! Eek!!

Anyway, I'm over the moon that you all loved yesterday's card and to Shirley, know me too well because I was trying to create the look of a Japanese screen with my card and I'm so pleased that you picked up on this!! :)

It's now time for another share and of course, another card from Clarity. Hope you all like it!!
Again, this card was made using DI's to build up the background colours and I purposely chose to do this as a sunset, to capture a sultry heat on a hot summer's day and I also thought it would showcase Barbara's lovely silhouette stamp perfectly, against the brilliant orange and red background! I stamped the main image across the bottom of the backdrop, and carried it on in a continuous line to go right across. I then stamped the trees and the message to complete the card.

So, that's it from me for today...I'm off to search for Mr Mojo in the hope of coaxing him back for an early start tomorrow!
I'll be round to visit your blogs, later tonight when I sit down with a cuppa and a Jaffa Cake!
See you all tomorrow with another share...bye for now!
Love Emma xxx

  1. Hi Emma, this card is a stunner, you have used one of my favourite colour palettes. I love the warm tones and your scene is perfect and showcases the stamps beautifully. I am with you on the pain front, I have a problem with my upper arm, going to see a specialist next week. Do you think it's due to all the rubber stamping we do lol. Take care my friend. Tracy x

  2. really like the beautiful depth youve created in this piece.

  3. Fabulous! You definitely captured the look and feel of a beautiful sunset Emma. I can almost feel the warm evening air.

  4. Gorgeous once again. I do love that sunset and yes it really does show off the stamps. Great work lovely. Hope you find that mojo, but in the meantime am sure the jaffa cake and cuppa are helping! Take care lovely. Zo xx

  5. Oh I've got a little mention - thanks! I'm glad my spot-the-design-brief eyes did not fail me!

You cannot fail to please with this one either, Emma - autumn colours are so my thing. That sunset skyline is excellent and the stamping prowess - does it know any bounds?

No use wandering over to my blog as I'm the post-less princess at present. There are reasons.

  6. Absolutely beautiful as ever, I love the colours and the card looks like it has been painted. Amazing, wonderful, I'm crawling back into my hole to cry at my attempts

  7. That's gorgeous Emma. Hope you're feeling better.
    C xx
