Hi everyone!!! It's the end of a long week and I can't believe how we got to Friday so quickly? But I just wanted to say a big hello to all my new followers. Thank you for choosing my blog and I'll look forward to getting to know you!
On Monday, I showed you some of the cards I made from the fab Craftwork Cards Fruit Scoop ~ Project of the Month and I think I might have mentioned just how much you got for your money in this collection. Well, here are another couple of cards made from that pack of goodies and it shows just how well all the bright papers, mix and match. And don't they look great? A perfect way to welcome summer with it's sorbet colours and fab die cuts.
On this first card, I made another of those box frame cards, that I showed in my Flying High post last week but this time I chose to make some handmade paper roses and fill the centre of the frame with them. I added some die cut elements and message tags as finishing touches.
For the second card, once again I mixed and matched the papers and then used them, together with Tim's Rosette die to make these pinwheels that stretch across the card. I added the tags which you get in the collection and then die cut some letters from Tim's Vintage Market die and stuck "party" to the banner. Finally, I added some Baker's Twine from The Ribbon Girl and tied the two ends into bows.
So, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and whatever you have planned....enjoy!
See you next week.
