Hey everyone!
Today, I'm sharing my third project that I created for Tim Holtz for CHA 2016! I think this has to be my favourite of all that I made, I couldn't have been happier with how this one turned out ~ it was exactly how I envisaged it in my head and I just loved all the beautiful products that I was lucky enough to use to create this framed panel.
As always, I've included plenty of photos for you to see all the details, so...I hope you enjoy looking through them all and love what I created!
I loved working with these beautiful layered butterflies by Sizzix and you can see from the photo below how I layered each of them using black card, that I gilded with Vintage Foil Transfer Sheets, and added over the top of Wallflower Vellum which created a really gorgeous look. I then added wire antennae to each of the butterflies and smaller punched vellum butterflies.
The framed panel was altered with Distress Paints to create a weathered shabby chic look and I added hints of gold to give more of a distressed feel.
I also used my favourite Globe die on the background which I created using Distress Paints and Texture Paste over the top of canvas.
For the finishing touch, I added Dapper Design Tape around the edges to create a framed border and a Small Talk Sticker and die cut word!
You can see below just how much dimension you can create with the butterflies.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and hope you've enjoyed looking at this project, as much as I loved creating it!
See you tomorrow with a special post but until then...happy weekend!
