Good morning friends...
Well, the weather outside is frightful, cold, damp and grey but I hope you are all well and keeping dry and warm!! Today, it's a very quick post from me but I'm here to share the first of my latest DT samples from the Clarity shows that were on Create and Craft at the weekend! As always, I really hope you love them...
The bright orange background to this card was created in exactly the same way by using Distress Stains as the backgrounds that I created for a couple of my Tim Holtz Halloween projects that I featured on my blog last week. I then used the gorgeous Clarity Starburst stencil, which is already a favourite of mine, to create the pattern. The image itself, has my signature skyline and a repeat of the starburst pattern at the bottom all created using Distress Inks. The hard thing was to make sure that both of these patterns lined up perfectly to give one complete round starburst...and after a couple of attempts, yay....it did!!
I stamped the silhouette of the weather vane and cockerel onto the background and added the Rise and Shine message to the centre of the starburst.
So, I really hope you loved sample number one and as always, I really appreciate all your visits and the lovely comments you always leave ~ THANK YOU!!
I'll see you tomorrow with another Clarity share but until then have a wonderful day and if you're off to a Bonfire party tonight...stay safe and have a great time!
Bye for now...love Emma xxx
