True Colour...

Happy Monday everyone!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I'm sure that all the Clarity Stamp fans were glued to your TV screens this weekend, watching Barbara wield her magic and make some gorgeous cards. This month, due to my shoulder injury, I was unable to join in the fun and make any new samples for the shows. The ones that were shown was artwork that I'd previously made but because I haven't got any brand new pieces of artwork to show you...I suddenly remembered, I'd never shared some cards that I made for Barbara's shows in Germany earlier this year. So, now's as good as time as any and here is the first of those cards  ~ I hope you like it!!
What better way to showcase this gorgeous Alium stamp, than to create a hot sultry summery background using Distress Inks and stamping directly onto it. As my regular followers know, I really don't like to "throw everything" at my Clarity Stamp samples because the stamps say it all!! As the saying goes..."why over guild the lily"~LOL!!

Thank you for all your comments and visits to my blog, it does mean so much to me and lo and behold, last night, I did finally get around to visiting you all and catching up on what you've been up to and I promise to be a much better blogger and visit regularly from now on!!
Bye for now and see you soon!
Love Emma xxx

  1. Hi Emma - what a great way to showcase Barbara's work for an overseas public. As you say, simple says it all.

I like the adoption of the twin sidebars for a blog that has so much to highlight!

  3. Stunning card Emma, love the inked background, beautiful use of colour and inks. Stunning image which works so well as the focal point. Sorry to hear things have been a little difficult of late. I was going to email you but I cannot see an email address on your blog. Just wanted to make sure you were ok. Tracy x x

  6. Hi Emma
I'm sorry to hear you've been suffering lately and not able to craft as much as you would like, that's no fun at all. I hope you are on the mend very soon.
I love the German dandelion, like you say, the stamps speak for themselves and your clever background allows them too. I love it.
You have nothing to apologise for, I love your visits and you are definitely more regular then me at the minute, I've been a terrible blogger but promise to be better from now on!!

  8. Stunning colours Emma, you really do Barbara's stamps justice.
Sorry to hear about the shoulder - I have a trapped in my neck and the pain radiates to my shoulder. Physio said that anything involving looking down ie reading, sitting a desk, crafting ...(eeeek) is out.
    What am I to do??

Oh well, short bursts should be OK - its been ages since I've sat to do any real crafting and catching up, but thankfully the boys are back at school now.....phew.

    Take care,
    Claire x
