A Wise Old Owl

Hi everyone!!

It's Friday and it's time to share my final (and my favourite) card from the Clarity shows that were on last weekend!!

I really don't think this gorgeous little owl needs any introduction, so all I will say is...I hope you like what I created!!!
When this collection of stamps arrived and I opened up the envelope, it was love at first sight when I saw the owl stamp. The detail and his little face is just gorgeous, and combined with the quote and the beautiful oak, which you can stamp in so many different ways, (I chose to stamp and create a frame to surround my owl) just made the perfect set. Once again, I created the background with Distress Inks and coloured the image with Promarkers.
The die cuts are all created using Spellbinders dies and I added some paper flowers as a finishing touch!


Time for me to head off into the kitchen and try and create something wonderful for dinner!!

    This is gorgeous Emma - that owl is fabulous, what a great stamp! Could I just ask what paper you are using please? I'm stuggling a bit with my current paper and wondered whether it is beacuse it suits Copics but not Promarkers. Have a good weekend, Jo x

    He's a real cutie isn't he, Emma. I can see why you love him so much and he sits in that lovely scene perfectly. Those dies up the side are just gorgeous too. I really NEED some of these new spellbinders!!

    I really do like that owl and the verse that goes with him is so apt. I can think of one or two people who would be perfect to receive that card. Yet another set I need to add to my wish list - it is getting longer.

    I can see why this would be your favourite from the Clarity show! the owl is fabulous! but so is your work in showing it off! :D

    I love the leaves and the little poem but I especially love that moon! like you could reach out and touch it...so brilliant!
