Hi everyone...just thought I'd drop by to share the card that I made for the Less Is More Butterfly challenge. After weeks of thinking "this will be the week I'll join in", I finally had a gap in my schedule and wonders will never cease...I actually managed to get around to finishing the card before the deadline was over!! And to be honest, how could I not make a card using butterflies. I've made so many in the past, it would be wrong not to!! hehe... I hope you like my first contribution.
Of course, this card uses more of Timmie's fabulous products. The butterflies are die cut from Grungepaper, which I then used Distress Inks on and stamped over the top. The background is made using a few splatters of Distress Stain, which I then let run over the card and finally, overstamped with the script from the Papillons stamp set.
So, I hope you all enjoy the rest of your day and I'll look forward to visiting as many other entries in the challenge, as I can. That's if Blogger lets me leave comments...at the moment, I am having a few difficulties. Not sure if anyone else is? But as soon as I can, I will be around!
See you soon.
Love Emma

ReplyDeleteI love the surreal design...a bit of a twist from the traditional butterfly card one might expect! the butterfly silhouettes with letters all over them and the randomness of the words...just as if they danced randomly on the card! and I love the little touches of distress that were added!
